Colorado fired Quenneville... strange decision, he's a great coach.  Toronto fired Maurice also, and while you can't blame him for the mismanagement in Toronto, GMs like to hire their own coaches so he'd likely be out when they hire someone permanently anyway.  And it looks like Fabian Brunnstrom is going to be a Dallas Star.  He's been hyped so much and I really don't see what the big deal is.  I'd like to see what he can do in the NHL.  Finally, Kolzig is done in Washington.  No word on if he'll retire, but he doesn't want to play for the Caps next year.

I don't like the sound of that... "we're doing our best..." Don't expect it this year.

I read that somewhere before.  Maybe at ROV?

It's funny, because cake sucks and pie is awesome!

Ugh... I hate stopovers.  Well, I hate long flights too... Got off a 5 hour flight a couple of hours ago and I have a 4 hour stopover until I connect to go home.  I got 45 minutes of sleep total on the plane.  I'll sleep when I get home, I guess.  I found a potential apartment, so it's not all bad.

That tripping call was a legit call though Neemo.

yea it was legit, but at the same time, the longer the game goes the more mentally and physically exhausted the players get...so in reality the refs decided it, cuz they were wearing down anyway, but since the refs made the call they basically cut the legs out from under the sharks...maybe i'm jsut too old fashioned but i cant accept the OT penalty calls..not matter how "deserved" they may be...it not like it was huge slash or somthing .... his stick got caught up in the players skate

dunno if that makes any sense hmm

They let everything go in the first two OT periods.  That call against the Stars (Grossman) never should've happened either, especially with some of the things they let go (i.e. Thornton's high stick on Morrow).  Either be consistent and call everything, or don't call anything... especially the little chippy penalties.

I anticipate that Philly will give the habs maybe more than they can handle...Philly is huge and the habs have alot of small dudes.

who called it 16 i was gonna pick the flyers to win too but then i second guessed myself 17

Philly didn't win because of the tough guys... They won because the Habs didn't play near their capabilities.  Price was average at best and the power play was a real stinker.  The first period went well last night, but once again, the Habs failed to play the majority of a game.  And that Umberger guy was absolutely ridiculous.  Eight goals in the series?  Who does he think he is?  Johan Franzen?

Go Sharks!!

A few stations have played the leaks plenty since things died down in 2006.  The C&D orders didn't really have any authority and the band can't monitor every radio station in the world 24/7.  People will still play the songs regardless.

I don't know how they expect to win by playing 15 minutes of one period.  And the only reason they pulled close was because they got lucky when Plekanec didn't get called for tripping Umberger.  I cringed when I watched a post-game interview with Higgins and he said they thought they played well enough to win.  He certainly wasn't playing the same game that I saw.  They lost all battles in the first two periods and were badly outplayed.  I don't understand why they don't put someone in front of Biron like Philly's doing on the other end.  I mean, Biron's seeing every shot.  Price definitely didn't see at all tonight, he had an ass in his face every shot on net.

Hatcher made a dumbass play though.  Why the hell do you hit a guy from behind, especially when your team's up 3-0.  If I was John Stevens, he wouldn't play Wednesday.

Anyway, I have to go and remove the remote control from my TV screen. 16
