Very true Jorge. Tommy's career was resurrected by Axl. He got his Perfect album out, his solo record, songs in movies and soundtracks, etc. Now, I just wish he would squeeze an album in with Westerberg while he is sitting on his ass waiting for Axl. Tommy seems very loyal so I don't think he will quit until the chinese democracy sessions are released.:mosh:

Tommy is much more successful now than he ever was with the Mats. Financially, he didn't make a dime from them. Artistically, he is probably frustrated. But in the end, he is a grown man who has to make a living.:ummm:

no....just sounds like he knows nothing is going to happen for awhile. More like a stalemate in those pesky "renegotiations" Merck and Axl referred to. As I have said before, could be Axl being unreasonable or could be the record company. No way to tell, but I can't imagine relations are good after Axl sued them over the GH issue and spent 13 years trying to complete an album. Just think about it....can't be all hunky dory. Maybe both parties are trying to sell all the material to another record label, maybe they are fighting over promotion, maybe the restructuring at Geffen and Interscope is affecting it, who the fuck knows!:flame:
