I don't think this is anything new... it's speculation... similar theories have been floating around for years.
Just a question though... why would Axl have to approve the marketing budget? Isn't promotion and advertising done by the record company? Isn't that the point of the record company? Why invest millions of dollars into the album and then allow the musician to control the advertising budget? Axl's not a businessman, he's a singer. The people at the record company are business people. They're the ones who decide where to spend the money.
I agree with James, this person is clearly trying to sell the story at the beginning with all the preamble about being an old long-time fan who doesn't post. If you don't post, why are you posting this? It's not really news worthy. Not to mention... she wants us to write to GNR's label demanding the album... She failed to even provide an email address or the name of GNR's label... the story has more BS than the farm near James's house.

From an accounting standpoint, I wonder how Amazon recognizes revenue. You'd think it'd be foolish on their part to set up an unearned revenue liability whenever they say an item is available for pre-order, because every year they're making the liability grow. Unless they are also setting up a prepaid expense for ordering the album or something. However they're doing it, it's backwards until the album actually comes out. They could even offer albums for pre-order to overstate their revenue and make it look like they're earning more than they actually are. It's silly.

IF (that's big on purpose) this is a real correspondence with Patti Hood, then This I Love could be a treat. I remain skeptical (as always) about people emailing to people to find out about CD. Funny that everyone in the band is gagged, yet people outside the band can say stuff about tracks and stuff. Ridiculous. And of course, what's the point in talking about a song if we're never going to hear it? It's all speculation until it comes out. I mean, her parts could be long gone by now.

Holy shit. I can't believe this. RIP Kevin Dubrow... This band took Slade songs and channeled them at a new generation. Definite pioneers in the 80s metal movement. Metal Health is one of the classic albums from the early 80s and has some definite gems on there. I wonder what was the cause of death?
