Seriously, what the fuck is it with the presidential candidates?  Hermain Cain is a joke.  Rick Perry seems to have taken Bill Maher's suggesting of doing shrooms a little too seriously.  And Mitt Romney is forever doomed to second place, but will do a 180 at moments notice.

I completely agree.

The party is totally fractured now. Even within their own circles they are totally clueless as to where they are going, unlike Democrats who have a pretty good agreement on who they are.

Republicans, some are small government, some are big government, some are socially ultra-conservative, some are socially liberal, some want legalization, some want flat taxes, some want no taxes, some want some taxes but not alot, some want to destroy Social Security, some love Social Security, etc. etc.

Cain has lost ALL momentum. Perry has gone scary, even W. is kinda freaked out by him. The media refuses to cover Ron Paul, and despite his ballsy take on government function and defense and spending and socially liberal policies, his carte blanche attitude with business is a doomsday prophecy for the middle class.

Romney is their best option right now, and he will be annihilated by Obama in any debate.

It's so funny how many Republicans and Tea Partiers are going around talking about how Obama is the worst President of all time, and yet Obama's already got his re-election speech written and concrete plans in place for his second-term.

Unless someone jumps into the Republican or 3rd party ring at the 11th hour... it's basically a done deal right now. Obama up through 2016.

With how good a job Obama's been doing for the bankers it was always obvious they were gonna hang this election for real.

Worse than the 08 bunch. The problem is that they actually have some great candidates (Huntsman for example) but the GOP seem to prefer the crazies.
