We already have half album CD 2 ... For me it's far worse than chinese democracy.
Chinese, Better, CITR, TWAT, street of dreams, Prostitute, Shacklers, This i love... All of them much better than any of the singles we have from cd2

I was gone for a couple years here. Is it me or was The General a huge letdown?  I recall alot of hype behind that one. Seems its going for an Estranged concept, but pretty big swing and miss if you ask me.

Yes, same here. I was expecting a more complex concept with more structure and something really epic. I remember someone saying in the past that TG had AN opera section with some opera singer collaboration.

The song is a mesh for me. Bad mix, Axl voice without any rasp at the end sounds horrible. The only good thing the Slash solo at the end. Just my opinion.

Oklahoma/ Berlin
Ides Of March 1998 according to Dominguez. He said these were the ones they bought in most complete I think and that would have been January 98, therefore they could be from 1997. Axl got the Idea for Oklahoma In 1995 just after the bombing (same week Izzy and Duff were doing Machine Gun ect) So I guess it depends on what you consider the start of a song writing process, either 95 or 98 take your pick

As It Began parts of which were played live in 2002

Dragon If you except the Engle & Engle paperwork is real
The Rebel (from memory the CD was burned same month RTB was being interviewed at The Village along with Caram)

Oh My God Remix (not bbf version)

Depends on if you count the remixes I guess but this specific one has been largely forgotten by people.  I think that years after those forum chats when the BBF guitar stem version leaked people assumed that was what Axl was speaking about back in 2008. However that version does not have new vocals and whilst the new guitar solo by BBF can certainly be described as wild, it’s clear that it’s not on the intro.

“There's a remix w/lots of new vocals and a wilder guitar intro but it's not taken all that seriously. ( AXL Chinesedemocracy.com December 14, 2008).

This basically confirms that not all of the Brain remixes are out there. Remember those half time shows where Brain and Mellissa played that version of Sorry along with the Better remix's? It's likely that there may be a version Of Sorry too.

Yes. I ask cause i assume we are going to get this singles format of allí/some of them during the band keeps together before new Slash/Duff/Axl songs/album get released. So if i'm right, i' d like to know how many CD era songs left for Axl. Only Axl knows

Because the organization is not only inept/incompetent, they're on record as detesting the hardcore base. We're the infamous "pond scum" unworthy of new music.

They can fuck something up (par for the course) and instead of any repercussions for the fuck up, they can sit back and get joy out of what they're doing.

They could even do this amateur hour shit on purpose.... because there's zero repercussions for doing so.

It's NOT a coincidence that every single thing that isn't the touring machine run by Live Nation is always bungled.

This is why you should just treat them as a touring band and that’s it.  I don’t really know how to really express this next point .  But outside of that touring band they are basically dead, in terms of everything else .  Fan interaction.  Releasing any unreleased material  and just giving a shit about their fanbase .

Megadeth is releasing their last album next year and I think they are including some cover from Ride the Lightning as coming full circle in his career.  I haven’t really listened to anything outside of the 90s stuff.  But he has my attention just on treating me as something more than revenue .

Which is what GNR treats their fanbase as. Once you realize this is what their game is you get less annoyed .  If they don’t give a shit , why should you?  Slash and Duff are complicit in this as well btw.  They are happy to ride the reunion gravy train and rake in the profits and watch it burn.

I've said it for years...I feel sorry for the younger generations of fans who never got to experience what the real GNR was like. They really missed out.

This is one of those you had to be there things.  I mean you can watch the YouTube clips but it’s not the same because the world was different and they were like 360 degrees different from this current mess.

For those younger fans: find musicians (old, young , dead , alive etc) that move you and releases material and interacts with the fan base.

I’m not saying stop listening or enjoying GNR but there are other musicians worthy of your time and energy that don’t treat you like pond scum.

Totally agree. Duff & Slash have lost credibility during these years without albums and new music since the reunion. They are there just for the money. Izzy is the only one with all the credibility. Just my opinión.
Look Aerosmith and Yungblud EP.... They are a good example. Axl doesn't care about music, just the money tours bring to him.

US tour SHOULD come with new music.

Hope so cause another announcement of north american leg without new music would be a joke.
These days i'm listening the Aerosmith-Yungblud EP and I would love GNR releases a new álbum or at least a 5-6 songs EP
