lol, Axl ain’t gifting the fans shit. There will be no sentimental send off. When he’s done, he’s gone.

I have a theory about the bad mix:
The General was a Brain song and he is featured on it with drums and loops.
The mix has the "feel" of modern hip hop/trippy songs similar to the material he and Melissa have been working on.My theory is that he was the main influence on the sound for this song, as Axl pointed he still involved anyway, and it was thrown as a B Side (even if such things don't exist anymore) to gather interest and feedback on a loopy sound for GNR.
And maybe this will drive the next endeavors...
This is really an interesting idea, because it was all definitely intentional

Yeah, monsters is really growing on me now.
Still don’t get how those two got paired together. Kind of opens the door to another batch of leaks being out there with Slash and Duff

Still love it as much as the early leak. Still don’t understand Axl putting in the tin can effect, but love the song.

I wouldn’t expect A lot of attention about the lawsuit. There were a slew of dubious lawsuits against high profile people to get in before the deadline to sue, and she’s not someone the media is going coalesce around, tbh. And no one gives a fuck about Fernando.

Jagged Little Pill was released in 95 and CD was released in 2008. Completely different worlds. Rock bands are lucky to sell 100k copies today

Blaming everything on Caram is kind of hilarious. As if Axl is a control freak about everything but his music. Caram worked on those RTB versions and it sounded perfect. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were actually the Andy Wallace mixes, because they were NOT demos. *Axl* had them remixed to sound the way they do. I’m really sorry if anyone thinks otherwise.

The album should have been released in 06 as a double. I think everything was basically done by then. Had Bucket been brought back, the album would have come out. It’s the only way I could see him ever really considering it. According to Brain that was his biggest issue, the album not being released.

AFD sounds like it does because of Axl. Mike never produced another album like it. Same with UYI. Axl dictates what he wants, and AFD was pretty infamous of how idiosyncratic he was with those hundreds of cassette tapes. Which amazes me how he’d go bonkers on CD, which actually sounded perfect with RTB.
