Hey James did you hear Cornell's last solo album?
What did you think.
I loved it.

My Top 5 GNR, Oasis, Soundgarden, Aerosmith, Def Leppard/Iron Maiden. I cannot choose between leppard and maiden.

I feel like Oasis get overlooked a lot because they were a huge mainstream success.

They were one hell of a hard rock outfit though.

Cigarettes and alcohol utterly devastated the shite on the radio in Ireland when it appeared:

Gas Panic is imprinted on my soul till the day I die.

There is no going back from this. Once you reintroduce Duff and Slash into the band you can't go back on that.
From this point on, Guns will always include Duff and Slash and without them nobody will accept GNR as GNR.
I accepted all the previous lineups as legitimate. But seeing the Troubadour footage has changed things.
GNR will always involve Slash and Duff for me now.

If anyone knows someone who will live streaming with periscope drop their username here

No fuck that.

If there's an official live stream count me in. If not I don't want to support some guy waving his fucking phone around in the crowd so that the guys behind him who paid to be there can't see.

This legit??  Some people's elsewhere said it's fake.

We'll know in 6 minutes.

I've been playing games all night.
I've been drinking and I'm ready for some fucking GNR.

If this doesn't work I'm going to keep drinking and watch the troubadour vids on repeat

Boom..

That Troubadour performance was on a broken foot?

Holy fucking shit.

That is amazing.

Also. I think it's time I tipped my hat to Team Brazil. I really love how they've been promoting GNR lately.
They're doing a great job. Interviewing the doctor like that was a great idea.
Teasers on Star Wars. Posters and Billboards across the big American cities.
10 dollar tickets to the Troubadour alongside that cool GNR museum they set up there.
The old logos back. The full bus adverts. Sending roses to the radio stations.
Just a really really great job.

Just thought I'd highlight the most important part tongue.

Is it new material or Chinese Democracy?

Great list. I'd like to add:

Excellent choice.

Also, I forgot retro active.

Fractured Love, Ring of Fire and Desert Song  from that album are all classic.
Retro Active is pretty much an album made up of all the really heavy NWOBHM songs that Mutt Lange rejected from Hysteria.

Your title got cut off. I thought she just said the venue was "pretty"

Beautiful sounding soloing there.

You guys are so lucky to be there.

I'll be living vicariously through your reviews.... even if vicarious existence IS a fuckin' waste of time.

I haven't seen any negative Bernie stories in the European media, but I see one on Trump every day. Sure, he is no establishment favorite, but they're not going after him either. Where he is out of tune he is often appealing to the same things as Trump. Like protectionism and scaling back the foreign wars.

I don't think the European media matters to an American election. Nor should it.

I can only go by what I see. I also read some US papers though, and they aren't much better. I have however seen more support there.

That there is a general slant against Trump I don't think can be argued.

You're right. I'm in Europe and I seem the same. There is a liberal bias in the European media in comparison to American media that's for sure. I don't think European media is a very good predictor of American politics however.
