One thing is not liking Myles, other is saying the whole post-GN'R Slash catalogue sucks (because of the singers or Slash's playing). I agree that Myles' nasal singin' is BAD. Maybe it does hurt the enjoyement for some. But last time i checked you were the music guy, who only cares about the instruments wink

But comparing Myles, who is one of today's best rock singers (even if it shows the state of current rock music) to that out-of-tone player is a bit too much. He's more of the Bumblefoot of Slash's singers. A skilled, talented guy, who's not everyone's favorite, but his professionality cannot be questioned.

I'd agree with your comparision if you mentioned Scott. Since Scott Weiland, who, just like Robin Finck, has a 'unique style' and cannot deliver live without causing serious hearing problems to the audience and also a bit (or more) off on the records. But Myles is always spot on. Always.

Spot on when you can't stand to listen to it doesn't matter.  We're talking it's so bad that I literally cannot listen to some of the songs he sings no matter how good the guitar is.  That's bad.  My point in comparing them is they both make the music unlistenable (though in different ways).  Maybe that's fine for Alter Bridge or whatever, but it just doesn't cut it for a guitar god in my opinion.

If he is the best (or even one of the best) of today's rock singers, it sums up to me why rock is dead and has been for some time.

Do you want me to make slashs new cd into karoko for ya make its a killer album KILLER 22

I agree, but you can't really argue with how well the song has done on the charts.  Like I said, what do I (we) know when it comes to choosing a single?  Unless there are bigger charting singles left on the album, which I wouldn't bet on.  But again, I obviously know nothing when it comes to what's popular.

Yeah I just think if I was an average person listening to radio and hear your a lie ok average where if I heard standing in the sun after a few times I would cool this sound alright and look at buying the album but I also think releasing the album in some country's earlier then other is just costing them sales big time people just download it from a torrent because they want to hear it then don't buy the album

I will say this, hearing some of Slash's work lately, if Axl had the right song Slash would probably kill it. But it would be a specific type of song. The songs he's brought to his solo records, even for VR for that matter, I don't think I could even put a 12 song tracklist together to make a decent album that Axl would sing on.

Songs I think Axl could kill:

By The Sword
Promise
Gotten
Saint Is A Sinner Too
Parts of Anastasia

That's all I got right now. I might go back and listen to more of that first solo album. Mostly it would probably have to be Axl/Dizzy/Chris/Tommy songs he'd play on.

So, basically, Slash would have to join the new line up 16

Seriously? Messages, Slither, FTP, Sucker Train Blues, Do it For the Kids, Watch This, You're a Lie, Anastasia, Dirty Little Thing etc etc. Axl could sing on anything Slash has done and it's be awesome  Slash could play anything on CD and turn it from average to awesome. it's just how they play off each other.

your wasting your time bono
