^^Especially as we all know the songs were mainly written and recorded over a few years back at the start of the decade, not over 10-15 years like the media and not in the loop music fans think.

Thats what makes it so interesting to me, it a kaleidoscope of styles, the album is such a trip.
I find it a really colourful and interesting album and horribly underrated.

New music would be just the tonic for me

It has so much energy and great musicianship, I'm not suprised people like it, its a really kickass tune. Axls "Aaaaaaahhh" bits are way overdone though, they really grate on me now.
Scraped was another tune that got praised in the media reviews and yet was met with a shrug and a "meh" on the boards.

Cool thanks for posting!

They all kinda put me in mind of rock album artwork.
I like Firefingers, Disfunctionally yours and Tornado. Dunno who'd have a wall big enough for the 13ft by 8ft painting though...

The band should go on stage at showtime and just stand there with the fans until Axl decides to get out of bed of travel to the gig. I wonder if he would have the nerve to join them on stage when he finally gets there.
I hope the fine is as big as their appearance fee, thats the only way you'll get him onstage on time.
Its quite funny how at the show in Abu Dhabi, in a country with pretty strict decency laws and hefty punishments for breaking them, GNR were onstage bang on time

Well fuck you's, I'll say it... New album???
Tommy speaks about his other projects explicitly, its only GNR stuff that he plays around with.
Sounds interesting, theres an interview over on mygnr from a french magazine with Rich, DJ and Ron - apparently theres a mention of a new album...

Its from when they played with Korn in 2010.

I like Shacklers, it has a great beat and Buckets work in the outro is fantastic, shame its buried. The song possibly has the worst intro of any GNR song though, its ghastly.
Mind you My World is a contender as well for the most abrasive intro, that song has no redeeming qualities to my ears, utter keich.
GITR has some great guitar work as well, theres a demo kicking around with no vocals and it sounds fantastic. That "stick your head tight in my vice" line always makes me squirm
