The same way he was clearly joking when talking about the instrumental bit inspired by End of Days called "Daddy Can the Devil do Mommy and me?", which is a ridiculous scene in the said movie.

If anyone wants to start a project to get stuff why not focus on songs that are KNOWN to be out there:
The OMG remix
The TIL remix
Jackie Chan (Checkmate)
Silkworms.
The guy from Ultimate Guitar or something supposedly heard Atlas back in 2007. It should be out there.
But I really don't believe Checkmate is seriously titled Jackie Chan.

voodoo child i see you ask maynard open in a thread about details of atlas and general. he said atlas is 8 minutes long with bumble. and said general is a 2 minute phone recording. do you doubt either is true? he still says he is giving them away on links by Private Message. so i don't understand why you say he is full of it. help me to understand. i want these leaks if the circle really has them.
I didnt say maynard is full of shit.
I saw those descriptions, but I wanted to know more. He didn't tell me, so I moved on.
Like I said before, the problem here is how is this not being shared all over the Internet. Seems pretty unlikely to me.

I'm just not sure about who he's talking when he says there was this "not friend" guitar player. Is that Bucket or Ron?
What does a 'musical director' for GNR even do?
He actually explains on the video. I guess the band needed someone to lead the rehearsals and work on the live arrangements. Not an easy task, and he says he didn't want that in first place.

That's really hard to say because of all the stuff that is out there; silk worms, Jackie Chan, the remixes. There are a few versions of Atlas, so there's a damn good chance a good quality version of General is out there, too.
Yeah, I meant out there as in on regular fans hands.
I think Silkworms, OMG and Going Down and the remixes are from a different batch. The soundmix with Bumblefoot's guitar louder leads me to believe that those were from rehearsal or something like that.
