Pretty awesome show untill the entire performance of Guns N' Roses was omitted. Also I noticed they played Velvet Revolver music when the band came up to accept their induction. Wow I wonder who's behind this. Thanks Axl for being such a fucking dick. He doesn't give a shit about the fans unless they are YES MEN fans.
What are u watching bro?
Im listening to SCOM right now on my HBO

Did Slash tell Steven something before induction speech?? He was saying stuff and steven shook his head and like put his hand on his mouth like "i'll behave"

i think sometimes we forget that we are not teenagers any more and music just doesn't strike the same chord that it used to. i am not saying cd has an estranged on it but at some point we stop relying on music as much as we used to for self identification and for that we always remember the firsts in life as the sweetest. you will never convince my dad that gnr is better than elvis and you will never convince my son that gnr is better than eminem.
U must be listening to the wrong stuff.
I still get just as stoked. New Van Halen album made me feel 18 again etc etc
Im counting the days to Apocalyptic Love, checking my mailbox everyday hoping Classic Rock will send it early

I think Axl is a master psychologist.
That quiet period where we heard nothing, beat us down to the level where we will now accept and slop up any thing he gives us and say thank u may i have another?
Are we being selfish?
I try to distance myself and ask myself that question. When I do though, it makes me think of what i said above.
I once started a thread at HTGTH about 8 years ago saying GNR fans have beaten wife syndrome.
so now, we feel like assholes criticizing GNR touring cause immediately people say,
"It beats the alternative."
BUT does that make it ok?
I am dubbing this the S.O.S. tour or the Same Ole Shit tour if it is exactly the same setlist etc.
but guess what? Its better than the alternative, so people will have their fanatic optimism and smile........... hoping our master will deem us worthy to deliver something new...
Fuck that shit. I will have open eyes and ears for first couple shows, if its SOS, i won't follow it anymore.

U know, when i sit back and think about it... i can't think of many logical reasons why I support this band as much as i do.

If Im not mistaken, Slash designed the original GNR logo... so i guess that is why Axl re did it?
