In the end, we got a compilation album. A compilation album pulled out of the swamp that was the Chinese Democracy recording sessions.

I still go with album should have been released right after Rock in Rio...spring 2001. The core group of songs needed Bucket solos....not his songwriting just his solos. My track list for a tight 70’s style rock album is...

I love Going Down. However, it would fit much better on Village Gorilla Head than Chinese Democracy.

Well, so far we have a good cross section of people who have heard full versions of Going Down, Hard School, and Silkworms. In my opinion, they all are the definition of outtakes....songs not good enough to make Chinese....b-sides. I haven’t heard enough of Atlas Shrugged to make an educated opinion. Just my two.
