#11681 Re: Guns N' Roses » GNR, Rock Band, the VMAs and 4 albums » 885 weeks ago
Instead of a month at a time, I think it could work well a week at a time. That would be crazy.
Can you imagine having 4 albums debut #1 in a row in the same month. That would be a record
that would never be broken. Plus that would be what would always be mentioned next to Chinese
Democracy. Almost like how UYI was the first since Jim Croce to have 2 albums debut in the top
spot at the same time. But this would blow that away.
If true, it would be a brilliant move to erase the abilty of anyone calling CD a failure.

Please, don't make me break out the FIVE POINTS of why there will NOT be a reunion, again.
And isn't it possible if they do release all the albums that they would do it a month at a time and
not all at once? That would be September, October, November, December. The four months you
really want to release an album(s).

Poor guy. I do agree with some of the posters at youtube that they should have AT LEAST
blurred his face. And really, this could have been done without even showing the video.
Just show it to a few posters in the fan community to validate it. This poor guy thought he
was just talking to some joe shmo.
But at least it was stuff that we pretty much all knew so he shouldn't get in too much trouble.
Hopefully.
It does make sense when the leaker said Axl turned in (I forget how many) a whole bunch
of CD's to universal, not just a couple.
At least we all now know Shacklers Revenge does not sound like Sweet Child O' Mine. It
just sounds... Different

I'm getting a feeling that beneath some of the more negative points made here, that there
are some here who really don't want CD to come out. Despite some veiled "positive" remarks.
What I'm reading here is not guarded optimism. It's hopeful negativity.

Wow, they really hyped it.
My favorite part:
When we found out we got it I thought we might have to delay RB2 until 2012 or something.

PURE sure was an interesting source back in 02.
Didn't someone beat him up and leave him in a ditch? Oh that's right, that's what
someone should've done. That guy was an assclown.
This was Pure's standard inside info:
$#%%^&:D^&**:(1467%^$IOU&^&%^%$:mosh:
And people would spend WEEKS trying to make sense of it. That was a low point
in GNR history. I think he had to disappear after he announced that the band had
broken up after the 02 tour ended.
#11687 Re: Guns N' Roses » Random Robin Thoughts » 885 weeks ago
I remember reading a long time ago on CDNOW.com that Navarro was very close to being
brought in but I'm thinking that was the time Robin left and then came back... They even
had a quote from the management, I think Goldstein, about how much they liked him and
that he was on top of the list. But I think he was still going through hs heroin addiction at
the time and that's what nixed it. That was the rumor anyway.
Neemo, can you validate that?
#11688 Re: Guns N' Roses » POLL: BH Returning? » 885 weeks ago
I said yes cuz I couldn't vote for maybe.
The whole Buckethead situation is wayyy too weird to try and make sense of. There is no way
I could say no.
#11689 Re: Guns N' Roses » Guns N' Roses Official Site Updated » 885 weeks ago
Haha, I was just thinking about all those little punks at HTGTH (you all know the ones
I'm talking about, with their double and triple count posts nut huggers that's ruined a
few forums with their completely obnoxious and delusional Axl worship... Along with those
Others who know better) who just jumped on board like the Johnny come lately
fans that they are. They didn't have to tred through the wastelands of 2000, 2003, 2004
and 2005 and these fuckers get the album after what, a year or two of waiting? Fuck em.
Now we all know bitter, I mean better.

Bucket and Finck.
