Feck off all of you
The SF 2 I used to play as a kid was Turbo so I'll say that one. If someone wants to suggest a better one then feel free.
The C&C for the PC, it had no extra name it wasn't red alert or anything, just Command and Conquer. It came with an extra 'covert operations' missions disk. I'm looking at the box right now

I didn't think anyone would nominate pokemon, good call
Age of Empires II
Street Fighter 2
Fallout 3
Command and Conquer
#1164 Re: GNRevolution Madness » top 32 games? » 870 weeks ago
Sorry to be a pain in the ass but I'd say redo the nominations. We don't need 4 mario games or 4 GTA games, I love GTA but I don't think all of them need to be in. That's a quarter of the possible games from only two franchises.
I realise that's a bit rich coming from someone who didn't nominate in the first place, but I was away and missed the thread otherwise I would have sent my nominations

Yeah the leak never grabbed me too much but I didn't give it too much of a listen due to the poorer quality compared to the other leaks. However I love the album version, the mood, the tone, the extra guitars all adds up to a really special track imo.

How people can say they butchered CITR baffles me, I love the album version of this song, it's fucking magic. That whole outro is amazing, lyrically fantastic and I love Rons playing behind it.

No worries, I was lucky to hear ODLT pretty early so bought the album, but the album and that track were slow burners in the UK only getting recognition in the last 6-8 months, so maybe it's only just getting some play in the US.

One Day Like This and Grounds for Divorce are great tracks, ODLT is one of the most uplifting tracks I've heard. I got the album about 18 months ago, a few of the songs are quite sombre but still pretty good. The critics love em too. They've been around ages too so if you like them Russ they've got a pretty big back catalogue.

I doubt it'll be forever, although I can't blame anyone who's had enough of Liam Gallagher. I think they've been a spent force creatively for a few years now anyway, maybe a break is what they need.

Didn't Axl say on the Trunk interview that the band had been working on a brand new song that day at rehearsals? Course it could have been Scraped or something that already existed and was being 'reworked'. We know Ron only came in late in the day in 06 so it's possible he missed out on working on new brand material by mere days. Pure speculation though.
As for the interview it was excellent probably his best yet and really in depth. Major thanks to Neemo and of course Ron for answering. Hopefully we'll get to see you on the road with GNR in the not too distant future Ron
