Mysteron has never shown me anything other than that he
has always been on the level, with what was in his power.
And I know he has REAL connections to GNR and he doesn't
say anything that doesn't have merit. Say what you will, but
until I see some credible evidence to the contrary, Mysteron's
credibility is still good to me.
Unless I'm missing something...

Am I the only one who remembers Tommy totally running Buckethead down
on the radio? What did he call him, fuckhead or something?
Tommy HATES Buckethead. He made that very clear. I don't know if Tommy
would stay if Buckethead was brought back in.
And I get the feeling Brain just stopped caring.

I didn't really catch anything in the article that suggested they might perform. It was more of them pointing out the big surprise acts in the past as a way to pimp the show.
And I think Axl's intro for The Killers was better than the whole VMA 02 thing.

I don't think the haters are running out of hate, they're running out of excuses.
I'll say it with no doubt in my mind, if the album was released in 2004 with Buckethead, buckethead would have made a bigger impact than Slash did back in 1987. He was the "cousin it" guy for a while and was considered a freak by the average fan, but nothing compared to Buckethead. And he had to share the superstar spotlight with Axl Rose. And lets be honest, Axl was the star of the show. Plus, Bucket's playing is something out of this world. Very distinctive, that makes jaws drop. And he has a sound and look no other band has/had. I say he'd be responsible for 40-50% of new interest in new GNR next to Axl. And think about it when I say NEW interest in Guns N' Roses.

I guess this shows that Buckethead did bring songs to the band and didn't just play
along side Robin's music.
I'm really hoping that the tracklist has moved up from 13 songs back to 16 - 18 like what was
originally planned.

Dude, there was no way in the world that Axl was going to take Bucket off the album. And I'll bet you anything he'd take him back this very second if he had the chance.
And I wouldn't be shocked if he was STILL trying to negotiate with him...

Until I see different, I will always believe the P.R. Brown artwork is the REAL cover of Chinese Democracy and the "Best Of" bullshit was just a cover.
