I don't think he's sucked since 1993, I just think his weak stuff far outweighs his good stuff.

Five O'Clock Somewhere is vastly overrated by GN'R fans, probably by about the same amount Chinese is and for different reasons [Axl = Coke, Slash = Pepsi, that kinda thing].

There's only a few trx on that album worth a damn.

Ain't Life Grand has Mean Bone (one of Slash's best songs period). That's pretty much it.

Things get better with VR, but not by mountains. Contraband was his strongest effort post-Guns, but if you combine it with Libertad, it greatly waters down the VR catalog.

Slash 2010 was a new ballgame for Slash. He's showing growth, and that I give him major respect for. Some songs were hit and miss, but the songs that hit were shockers that harkened back to his GN'R days.

Such a crying shame that he chose such a horrible vocalist in Myles to sing them. He has NEVER had taste in vocalists or an understanding of ability post-Axl.

Still at this point, there's 3/4 misses in his catalog, versus 1/4 hits. The only reason Axl doesn't give him a true run for his money (and the reason I put Slash over Axl), is that at least SLASH TRIED. Axl sits on his ass, hides his vault, and blames everyone from record companies, to suits, to Best Buy, to fans, to downloaders, to Slash, to the boogeyman as the reason he can't release it.

So in reverse, yes I would say Slash has something combined, comparable to Axl's stuff. But AFD? Fuck fuckity fuckin' NO. You're nuts. NONE OF THEM have made something comparable to AFD. NONE. Including Izzy.

Agree, gets more play than maybe even Slither did.
