Yeah some of the shelters are crazy what they expect. I got a dog last year from a shelter and they were pretty reasonable, just a few photos of the house and then they requested a couple of updates on the dog, a few weeks and a few months on. Someone was meant to be coming round to check on her (the dog) and us but cos the shelter's so far away and the updates were good they didn't bother. From what I can gather that's about the most easy going a shelter you'll find as well. We got a german shepherd/border collie cross and you couldn't ask for a better dog imo.

No he confirmed it, I'm pretty sure and said it was now called Jackie Chan. The link to checkmate/Jackie Chan and General is speculation but as you said pretty good logic.

Axl confirmed Checkmate to be a real track and said it's working title was Jackie Chan. In a later comment he said we might have heard part of The General somehwere before. One of Jackie Chans nicknames is The General, so whilst not stone cold proof it's a big coincidence otherwise.

Yeah, cultural differences probably play a part, it's a film based on an big american tradition and it's not something that really happens in the UK so it's hard to relate in that sense for me. Plus it's now a 17 year old film, set 30 years ago so it definitely feels aged. I don't know, it just bored me, nothing really seemed to happen in it

Not seen Tropic Thunder but PE is ok, nothing special but definitely watchable.

I watched Snakes on a Plane last night followed by Dazed and Confused. Snakes on a Plane is great, Dazed and Confused is awful, I'm surprised I even watched it the full way through.
