Its always been about Slash and Axl. Slash is the ONE guy as iconic and famous as Axl and i think that pisses him off.

I don't see what is so inflammatory about that comment.

Axl keeps talking how "Slash" tried to take over the band.. AND? Isn't Slash apart of th gband also? So he is mad at Slash for trying to do the same thing as he is doing?

Axl thinks he is GNR.. but no matter how many years go by, no matters what he does. he cannot get that shadow or monkey off.

u damn right that would cause some jealousy and envy. Slash in the meantime won the public battle and every one is on his side.

Has to be a reason Axl hates Slash and no one else in the band who have equally said or did shit on the level as Slash.

Not too far out there to think Axl hates the fact Slash doesn't need him to be successful.

Also, for the record, when I met Jarmo at Nashville show.. I told him to his face i thought Robin Finck sucked.

never once kissed his ass or even mentioned going backstage or none of that shit.

I can sway from one side to the other based on what happens but thats cause i am a GNR fan.

not an Axl fan, not a Slash fan etc etc. I love the band i grew up with and i go from side to side based on what is going on.

ive said it for years.

Axl thought Slash would be NOTHING without him and come crawling/begging back... and Slah went on to have a better career than Axl and that is why Axl hates Slash.
