The Bears offense keeps opposing defenses off balance.
But they need to settle into a more traditional upfield passing game when the time is right.
The downside of their RB heavy fast-paced offense is that it gasses the line.
It'll be interesting to see how it plays out throughout the season.

The Bears offense looks great.
Trubisky is just young. They could've won the game last night on a handful of plays.
He reminds me a lot of Favre. Really boom/bust at times.
The Bears did stuff I've been wanted McCarthy to introduce for years but he's a dunce.
Lost the battle, gonna win the next decades war, probably.

Wow, i dont know who ty montgomery is but 5 rounds after his 'projection' seems a good pick. Nice steal
He was the Packers #1 WR turned RB.
But they drafted 3 RBs in 2017 and he'll be either 2 or 3 on the depth chart moving forward.

Absolutely nuts.
Ok, maybe not dog shit porn booth nuts but he definitely paints in a couple new shades of dysfunction.
Namely that Goldstein was pushed out as Merck came in around Leeds 2002.
TL;DL:
- Reiterates Axl has "a couple albums" in the can
- Says MTV kind of stashed away the band from everyone which is partially why the gig was rough / the levels were off
- Brain gives off a real don't give-a-fucksy vibe about the whole thing (Guns/CD saga)
- Kinda shrugged off the Guns gig, let Frank take it over, partially because he had a kid and was tired of touring
- Doesn't like doing just one thing
- Melissa and Brain no longer an item
- Hasn't talked to Axl since House of Blues show (2012)
- Hears updates about GNR through Melissa

Consider it a blessing.

In a perfect world, Axl would be gearing up for one last bite at the apple while Slash tours, ie getting in shape, prepping the record, and negotiating with the label.
We’ve been having these fever dreams for a solid decade so ya know, probably not gonna happen.

I dunno.
Axl looked to be in full grandpa mode January 2016. Slash said it was just that one gig. And of course Axl’s infamous Taco Bell tweet. A wry dad humor joke? Axl’s reticence of stepping back into the public light? Or was he strong armed into that show like everything else?
I’m sure big money had the tour planned out but understood it could all fall apart. Who knows with these bullshit artists.
As for new music? Who knows on that either.
The situation with the label changed somewhat regarding Slash and Duff’s rejoining and the skyrocket in brand value but the two elephants in the room are what the record company thinks/thought of CD2 and what the contract actually is. And then there’s the standard stuff of lining up available monies for marquee acts and standard contract negotiations which is not so standard with Axl. This again, assuming there’s music to be released and not created from the ground up.
If it’s not there start of the tour 2020, there’s no point, and even then it’s questionable.

Apex making good points as usual.
We also have to consider whether the deal valued at $19m was worth it from their end. Did the brand perform in line with expectations?
I'd guess the answer to that question is no.
I'd be curious about executive power when it comes to releases. I bring this up because if I'm the record company, the milk-a-thon is just getting started.
We'll release a CD anniversary, a UYI anniversary, a rare takes box set, and then maybe we'll think about polishing up a deal for you, Ax. Take care, now!
