As for alleged censorship, they say the same about HTGTH. Alot of the most active posters over their were banned from HTGTH, for what you guys are complaining about at MYGNR.
Alleged my ass!
See Axlin08's post. I was banned for asking Madison what she thought of Bucket's parts when it became apparent that he was in fact all over the album. She just couldn't deal with it.
And she calls her self a fan of the band/album.

If you listen really closely to the youtube videos of the multitracks, you can hear Bucket's original solo bleeding through. Does anyone have a good quality version of the multitracks? Also anyone notice Bucket playing Axls vocal line immediately after the solo?
Awesome song, Brain is the star of this one imho.

Scraped. I just can't get into it, and Bucket's solo is atrocious, the worst one by far on CD.
I think it's Ron doing that solo mate. I only hear bucket right at the end doing a tiny bit of the outro before and after the keys part.
My least favorite song is either Better or TIL, I'll vote for Better seeing as it hasn't been done yet.

"...While Rose is the unquestioned leader/visionary of the current incarnation of GNR, he is not the true star of Chinese Democracy. That honor falls to the avant-garde guitarist Buckethead. My long standing complaint about Buckethead was that his skills were being wasted, as he released solo album after solo album of material that pleased his fans to no end, but never enlightened a wider audience on his amazing skills. On Chinese Democracy his playing is magnetic. He unleashes a devastating array of riffs and solos that are thoroughly modern, with a hint of classicism to them. His work during “There Was A Time” is one of the finest musical moments of this decade, drawing comparisons to the legendary solos of “Comfortably Numb” or “Stairway to Heaven.”..."

Better, Catcher, TIL, Prostitute.

Why has everyone got a hard-on for "Better"? It's one of the weakest tracks imho.

Unless, of course ... nah.
You and I both know that if this band is to have a bright future, that needs to happen.

Sorry - ...One negative with it, the start of the solo, it sounds like whoever is playing (scuse me for not knowing since there are 67 different guitarists on the album), it sounds like they are fumbling for the note?? It sounds like me when I'm drunk and I plug in to my amp and crank it up then try and play and all you can hear is my clumsy fingers searching for the note. Mwwwhahahah
What song were you listening to mate? The solo on Sorry is probably the most controlled playing on the whole album. Fumbling for a note?? WTF?

I can't see the band touring for at least another 6 months. Anything could happen wrt the line-up leading up to the tour.
