For what its worth, DJ shares the new album sentiments expressed here:

BraveWords.com: I truly think the shows and new line-up are fantastic. The problem (if I can say it that way) is that for the branding - you haven’t made new music as this band. I think that would go a long way in changing the fans’ perspective. Is there any chance that you guys might get into a studio and record a new album?

DJ: “Yeah, there is. In fact, I didn’t join Guns N’ Roses just to come in as ‘a guitar player’.

BraveWords.com: Has Axl heard your songs?

DJ: “He has and he’s really excited. It’s just that we’ve been non-stop touring. That’s been one of the frustrating things for me. I really want to get into a studio more than I ever have.”

For the record, I found some of the UCAP tour comments funny.

For many years, we’ve been playing arenas and stadiums. So, it’s been a really long time since I’ve been on a stage that small, but it’ an intimate stripped down show. There are not a lot of big bombs going off and you’re running into each other, but it’s been so much fun because it brings you back to these days when you were trying to make it. It’s exciting.”

However,

The show is massive and a lot of times you just don’t know. There are 92 people on our crew. It’s a massive engine to move, but we’re ready as soon as we get the call.

As long as people go to his shows, he plays them out.

Album release? Been there.

Reunion? RRHOF may actually break new ground, there.

Of course, the minute Slash steps up for a guest spot, that'll be a horse of a different color.

Were they making money out of it during the tour?

But one thing doesn't... Glenn Hughes. I have never ever understood the popularity of that guy in the D-list rock circles.

I guess Hughes is renowned by association. He had his time with Deep Purple, Sabbath, and that meteoric comeback single with KLF.

For those who can't remember, KLF was HUGE back in the day, and the collaboration bought Hughes good-will and industry credit to burn.

It's amazing how much money the record industry is willing to spend on a piss-take on themselves. 16

Hey smoke,

All above board. Just that if you are really interested in something, you'll be more quick to find out about it by looking it up yourself. This is a good place to talk about it, sure. That's one thing. Asking for peeps to do ones cybersleuthing for them just gives out the impression one's too busy cyberslothing himself.

I may be a bit thick at that, but I was raised to a DIY mentality when it comes to acquiring data, this goes back to public school. If I make claims based on a separate account by someone, I maintain it's just good manners to back it up with a source. But if a reader wants to know more, s/he hopefully has enough keywords already to dig deeper on their own.

Dude,

With all due respect,

No-one here is your personal Google or Wikipedia.

It started with the Dio Years compilation.

Ward on H&H wrote:

"There was a track that I was uncomfortable with," he said. "And I was trying to accomodate the wishes of a couple of the bandmembers, and I'm not very good when I have to do that.

Iommi on Ward wrote:

The record company was asking for the songs fairly quick — they wanted to get them out. And Bill wanted to take more time doing it, and it was getting longer and longer, and we thought, 'Well, it's probably best we don't do them with Bill,' because Bill was feeling uncomfortable. And it felt even more uncomfortable when we [spoke] to him about touring for a year.

Trust me, I dislike Sharon & her methods as much as the next person. The stuff she pulled on Maiden the last time they were on Ozzfest by placing hecklers to the crowd and cutting off the PA was a particular low.

Just saying, Ward has a checkered history with Sabbath. He's come in, fiddled around a bit, lapsed into alcoholism, struck out, pleaded to get back and done it all over again. More than once. I take it a lot of that is water under the bridge when it comes to Iommi and Butler,  but Ward has a history of being difficult himself.

Glad to see Baz get a break.

He's a bit goofy yet underappreciated frontman with huge vocal abilities.

Vinny Appice, anyone?

Is no one learning anything from Dio's quick passing?

Least of them Bill Ward.

He opted out of the Heaven & Hell tour due to some disagreements.
