Anyone else listening on a decent rig, hear the eye on you "ayes" during the solo/bridge?

Can I get in on some of this Hard Skool action?

Agreed. Most of this was already common knowledge amongst us IWC nerds. Not the best PR for Dreamer though. Yikes.

Madagascar has a ton of symbolism in the lyrics. It’s a classic Axl song which is easy for him to sing. It’s a no brainer that it is in the setlist. The songs I could do without are Better and Slither.

Better's kinda had its day now that the novelty of seeing Slash and Duff perform it has worn off. I'd swap it out for I.R.S. if it were me in charge of the setlist.

I'd keep Slither if Axl would LEARN HOW TO SING THE FIRST FUCKING VERSE and stop doing the high vocal line in the chorus. Failing that, swap it out for another VR song, it'd be nice to have a bit of variety on that score. Fall To Pieces would be nice, but they have more than enough ballads in the set. Set Me Free, maybe?

Even if he made his laziest attempt, "set me free" would be a mark out moment for me.

I'm back in as well. Slash and Duff can do whatever they want to the CD leftovers. Bring on CD2 9

I mean that sounds like a GN'R song to me and like it would be a very good comeback single.

I really don't understand the complaints about this. Why would you want what these guys can write in their late 50s and 60s, when they're comfortable and more levelheaded in their day to day lives. Give me the shit they wrote when they still wanted to do something and were still somewhat reckless.

This whole saga since 94 has been one mistake after another but clearly Axl had some shit he wanted to get off his chest musically at some point. I'd rather hear that instead of some stuff they write when they're close to being senior citizens.

Holy fuck, I like the sound of that. It certainly is undeniable how "GN'R" this version sounds.

That sounds like a GN"R track.

That does sound really good.

Not a bad first single for CD II.

Like Sky Dog.....they have to release something to get access to my wallet again.

I hate how they continually show that they could put in literal minimal effort and please a majority of the fanbase, yet it's always a gag order silence. If they would have dropped hardschool on the last touring cycle, there would be a different climate amongst fans. They could have dropped a 20+ year old song on the setlist, and the fanbase would have went wild.

At the risk of sounding like a nut swinger, I feel like every CD track Slash and Duff have touched has yielded a killer track that is equal if not better. That little sample of "Hard School" has me salivating on what the finished interpretation is.

Is there anyone here on this forum that believes it was antifa, blm, or any related affiliation leading the charge? Is it up for debate what ideology was the primary beligerent of this unprecedented failed coup?
