As for his claim that an Activision guy went backstage crying to appologise.  If anybody really believes that crap then I'm sorry but those same people would worry me cause well there are tails about a big white bearded guy that lives in the North Pole and gives every kids in the world gifts.  Also look in to the tooth fairy, Easter Bunny and the existence of unicorns as all those stories are just as believable as this.

If Axl Rose spent as much time recording as he spends time doing ridiculous lawsuits and hating Slash then we'd have had at least 8 new records by now.

Whoa there, every body bring the horses back to the stable.... let me be the first to say that this in no way means a "reunion" of any sort is imminent.

I think it's normal people will react that way.  It doesn't bother me that much.  At least it doesn't seem to rekindle the old GNR vs NU GNR feud.  But I seriously hope Duff can bring some sort of peace between Axl and Slash, not for a reunion but for both of them.  Regardless I would've loved to be in the same room when Axl and Duff met.  I would've liked to hear the stories those guys may have shared.

As much as I love Izzy, this is a little bit bigger.  Not saying that this means a reunion will happen.  But this is a very huge step for having peace between those guys.  I think it is great for both Axl and Duff.

And this to me doesn't mean that a reunion is close to happened.  Just that two former friends were able to make piece.  The best I would hope from this is Duff appearing on an Axl\GNR song ona possible future release if Axl ever grows the balls to release something again or that Axl could appear on a Duff solo record.  Or another scenario would be that Duff could make Axl and Slash civil to each other in the future.  Nevertheless I'm happy for both of them.

Wow!  That's HUGE news.  Great for Duff and Axl.  I'm happy they buried the hatchet.

Why is it adding fuel? Slash LYING about certain things (which he has done in the past by inconsistent accounts of incidents) is one thing, but that comment is totally true.

It is what it is. Axl is a foot-dragger. He over thinks his material. It's the reason is high school buddy Izzy can only work with him part time. Some of he and Izzy's more modern collaborations as Guns N' Roses are still sitting in a vault, while Izzy has released how many albums in the same time frame?

The main thing that would've hung up Slash's solo album is that Axl wouldn't have liked any of it. He's said time and again that he hasn't really cared for Slash's work post-Guns, not that I blame him.

The prospect of Axl singing on "Slash" would be no different than Axl revisting the same argument that existed in 1995 with Snakepit. It's basically Slash going, "hey Axl come in and sing, but don't comment on any of my stuff".

We all know Axl doesn't work that way. The guy is just too blunt.

The irony that gets involved is that Axl would lend his vocals to that shittastic Baz album Angel Down, but he won't sing on Slash.

It's a shame really because imagine Ghost, that Duff & Dave Grohl track, or even that Paradise City collab with Cypress Hill, but with Axl - 11

Back From Cali could've been GNR's comeback song in alot ways. Axl Rose on that with Duff, Izzy & Steven would've kicked the door back in.

I never said Slash wasn't right.  I specifically said I agreed with him.  But a simple "I considered calling Axl but I decided not to do it due to our strained relation."  It is normal for him to think Axl would've delayed his record cause we all know that is what would've happened but saying so in the media is unnecessary.  This feud is getting tiresome.  And for the record Axl calling Slash a cancer a couple years back was worst and shouldn't have been said.

Slash considered ending his longrunning feud with former Guns n' Roses bandmate Axl Rose during the making of his solo album - because he was desperate for the singer to join him in the studio.

The guitarist quit the legendary band in the 1990s after a famous falling out with Rose and hasn't spoken to his former friend in years.

But Slash admits that while he was recruiting singers to lend vocals to tracks on his recent self-titled solo record, he thought about asking Rose to help.

He tells Classic Rock, "When I was in the middle of this process there were a lot of singers' names who flew through my mind during the process. You are living in 'Singer Land' so all you are thinking about is singers. The thought of him crossed my mind at one point. I thought, 'Axl could sing the shit out of any of these songs'."

But Slash "never made the call" and jokingly cites Gun N' Roses' long-gestating album Chinese Democracy, which took more than a decade to make, as his reasoning.

He adds, "I wanted to put the record out in this millennium."

I found this article on canoe.  I found it interestting and decided to share it.  Liked it but I got say that I wish Slash had refrained from making his comment about wanting to get his album out this millenium.  While I agree with him it was an unnecessary jab that could add fuel to their feud and that fued don't need any fuel added.

Maybe it's comfort zone but at least Nikki has the guts to release books and or albums unlike other artists that shall remained unnamed.  tongue  And I like Sixx AM so this is cool shit.  Can't wait for the album.  I'll pass on the book though.

I don't think is the doing of the band, for those of you who are saying this is comical.  It seems to be all on youtube, for whatever reason.  Because the band/DJ certainly finds it ridiculous as well.  So direct your anger/astonishment towards youtube if it wasn't there before.

Now it's not just the video but Axl\GNR have to be the world's unlickiest band of all time.  Problems with their site?  It's the MLB's fault.  CD couldn't come out?  It was the fault of the record company\management\just about everybody else.  Axl cancels the tour via Twitter?  His account was hacked.  Somehow it's NEVER their fault.  The world is out to get them I'm telling you.  It's all a HUGE conspiracy.  19
