#131 Re: Guns N' Roses » FYE promoting GNR discography » 495 weeks ago
I fail to see anything interesting here... gnr are relevant again... And fye is an overpriced chain store that panders to the lowest common denominator of consumers.

And by the way, there's nothing wrong with Axl wanting to be Reznor in mid 90s. Everybody from Axl to Bowie to REM wanted to add layers and textures to their sound.
Some went to a deeper extent like Axl and Duff. Others kept on the surface.
Funny you should mention that... I always thought if Chi Dem was released in 1997, it would have sounded pretty much like this:

I remember that (although I never registered there)! It was part of the GNR 'web ring' back then... Takes me back, the internet used to be an entirely different place...
.
Yes, the golden days of Web Rings, and Netscape browser. I cannot find a single result for it though(only the bootleg CD of the same name)... Maybe I'm remembering it wrong, maybe it was just more a fan site than an actual forum...

If Axl is seriously going to do something, I am aboard his crazy train as long as its heading to a destination.
Ive been on board for 18 years... He's made a few quick stops along the way, but I don't think we'll ever truly get there.

The tweets are pretty obvious I think.. The new thread title hit the nail on the head. "Nothing to see here you fuck head, go home!"
