Having not heard the newest leaks I can't comment, but it was always a risk having ancient demos accessible to anyone on the off chance people liked it more than the final version. Originally that was more a concern of BH fans if he got removed from the album but as it seems like he's stayed in the most part that's been forgotten. It'll be interesting to see what Better sounds like on the album, cos if that's not the crunchy, heavy, guitar driven rocker we first heard in 06 there'll be alot of people around these forums none too pleased.
As for the review, you couldn't ask for more. Can't help wondering if Azoff isn't at the back of this somewhere in terms of how good the review is. Wasn't there a suspision RS were snuggling up to GNR/Azoff around the time of Skwerl leaks? Either way it's a great review for the band and it's refreshing to see the music being reviewed and not just 'Where's Slash', 'Axls mental' comments which I suspect we'll see a bit of in the coming week(s). At least one of the big hitters as posted up a favourable review :thumb up:

It's from Leeds 02, same show as the infamous 'he's in my ass, that's where Slash is' quote

Technically I don't think he's ever been offically announced as 'out' though has he?

Chris Moyles played it again on radio 1 this morning but no real comment after the song. Only a sarcastic quip about one of his producers loving it.

Elmir I think. I agree, it looks awesome.

Only thing making me think it's not fake is why bother. There's nothing sensational on there or new, nothing to get people excited on the forums, what's to gain by faking a sticker that gives no new information about anything?

So this weird intro on Scraped, is it the vocal harmonies from those teaser best buy ads we heard the other week? If that's the case I thought it sounded pretty cool on the ad. So do you guys think Scraped is better than CD and Better than as a rocker?

lewis hamilton fluked it! last corner, last lap, glock on dry tyres on a wet track lost 18 seconds on the last lap, which allowed lewis to overtake him on the last corner of the last lap
i nearly cryed
Your a Ferrari fan rather than a Hamilton fan then?

James was right on Tobias and Fortus. I always thought Tobias would get writing credits. However, I didn't think he would actually play on the album. Wonder why Axl didn't put his pic in there?
Me too, Tobias getting writing credit is no surprise, I didn't expect to see him as present on the songs though. Considering Fortus has been there what 7/8 years now and he makes only a minimal appearance and yet Ron's on every track (I think) and he's been in 2 years. Hell Frank drums a whole track which in total probably amounts to more of a contribution than Fortus has on this album.
The majority of songs on this album pre-date Fortus starting with the band so his lack of writing credit is no surprise, yet Axls said a couple of times they've written songs with Fortus so there's newer material in the vault that has his fingerprints on it. Whether ever hear/see it is a different story.
