Axl ain't dumb....autopilot? Yes. Good to see Duff getting involved. You have to admit Axl has had two really great bass players....good guys and just great rockers...always said they were very similar...a little different style but in the end, really cut out of the same cloth.

There's nothing wrong with mixing it up, but Axl doesn't want to. And it's always said they play what the band wants, but it's clear they're following his lead... They want to play new songs as stated in public numerous times. Where is it?
Axl just doesn't have the passion to do new stuff anymore. The "fire" seems to have left with Robin. I just don't think it's a coincidence that things changed when he left.
Thank God The Replacements are coming to Atlanta in May....a real rock concert....no pyro bullshit, just great songs and you don't know what the hell they are going to do.

oh yeah, and fuck all the 14 guitarists...he needs to write with Tommy f'n Stinson if he wants to take it back old school....Tommy, Richard, Ax, Dizzy, Frank could make a killer album on their own.

Good to see you JR! Unfortunately, Axl isn't going to do shit....firmly convinced of this. He will tour and make some cash to help support the band and their families and his hangers on. It's over as far as I am concerned. Of course, I would love to hear the unreleased Chinese stuff but that seems like it won't happen either. I am just going old school now watching vids from 85-91...holy shit...real deal.
