#1441 Re: Guns N' Roses » Chinese Democracy album cover? » 917 weeks ago
Only one picture still
I was skeptical before and now even more.......maybe the three different cd's ARE going to be different on the inside rather than simply a different cover
Maybe, although Jarmo's saying it's just the one same cd, but hinting each one will have different extras and bonus bits.

So that's another new song title we've got then, awesome, I just wonder how many of the leaks will make the final cut for this album?
Another Axl/BH track as well, all the other people are producers and engineers aren't they?

Cover art! This is really happening, isn't it?
And just when I'm going to be away from the internet for a couple days.
Tell me about it, after Friday I might not have internet access until maybe Wednesday
Anyway

Interesting. So what is it exactly, an album? A song?
#1445 Re: Guns N' Roses » GNR looking for ad agency » 917 weeks ago
A lot of albums at the moment are being promoted after release, TV ads and such are all saying out now rather than coming out xxx. Perhaps I just miss them before release but it seems most tv ads for albums start being aired 2/3 weeks after an albums release.
#1446 Re: Guns N' Roses » Chinese Democracy potential track listing? » 917 weeks ago
thats the first mention ive ever heard of 'Motormouth'? or am I mistaken?
That's a track that was rumoured to be in circulation around the time of one of the leak crazes. There's no proof it's even a GNR track, and I personally don't think it is, it was invented by some fake leakers imo to try and get leaks, imo of course.
But c'mon, Motormouth....really
If any more of these tracklists appear look to see if they include the track Broken, it was confirmed as a fake by Ron ages ago, but most fakers seem to forget that but remember the name and bung it on the tracklist. Idiots.

I wish GNR would confirm this, I'm not getting too carried away until I hea from the horses mouth. Although everything these last few weeks has pointed to exactly the same thing...it's coming.
Shame about the fact it only seems like one album, having said the clues were there, Baz said only a couple of months back that Axl had said The General's on album 3 which will be out in 2012. We knew as of a couple of moths ago Axl was intending three seperate releases, still a trilogy in a way but not in the fashion we were hoping for. Hell, I'll take one album though, beggars can't be choosers.
#1448 Re: Guns N' Roses » RUMOR: Best Buy buys 3 million CD cd's upfront? » 917 weeks ago
Maybe it's from alternate lineups and it's CD as it sounded then, version 1 being from 99, version 2 01/02 and version 3 being the 06/07 version. Highly unlikely, but I can think of a few people who might be in favour of it...
#1449 Re: Guns N' Roses » Chinese Democracy release date? » 917 weeks ago
It's very hard to gauge GNR's opening week sales compared to other acts. Most other acts we're talking about have released an album in the last 2/3 years their popularity can be measured, they've got singles out (or some do) the response to those can be used as an indicator. None of these can be used to guess GNR's sales, the UYI and GNR craze was way too long ago to be considered a relevant gauge of popularity, there's no current single to measure sales for, and not to mention Axls not the most popular guy in the world anyway, no one knows how the public will respond to a Slashless GNR releasing an album.
Of course good music will win through, if the album is good it will do fine. It'll be very interesting to see how first week sales go, and will probably be a good indicator of how the general public feel about Axls new version of GNR.

I'll be watching this. Why I don't know. I usually try and support horror by going to the theater though. Not much horror been coming out lately unfortunately.
I remember you claiming to be done with the Saw franchise after you saw number 4. I knew you'd cave
