#1481 Re: The Sunset Strip » Most Recent Movie You've Seen » 924 weeks ago

Pathology-I thought this looked really promising when I saw the trailers for it a few months ago but it was pretty dissappointing to be honest. I wish I hadn't have bought it on DVD and had just rented it. It threatened to go down a promising horror/thriller route but never delivered and was ultimately pretty shit.

I also watched In Bruges again the other day, and it's still great. I highly recommend this film to anyone. One of the best films of this year imo.

Whilst I'm here I saw Superbad the other week. How did this film get such praise? A semi-decent opening half hour and a few good one liners aside this film's a snoozefest, I don't why so many people raved about this film.

Probably not. It might be very good but until Axl gives his story I'm not sure there are many tales left worth telling that we haven't already heard hmm

^ He's phenemonal, I just hope he's clean, I'd hate such an achievement to be ruined by a drug scandal. When someone performs that well given the sports track record (pun intended) you can't help but raise an eyebrow.

I'm amazed how well GB are doing, 3rd in the medal rankings, it's nothing short of unbelievable. They did a shocking job of promoting the Olympics here, I didn't think we had a chance at any medals really, funnily enough the few people that were tipped for a medal before the games did nothing and yet all these unknowns have come out and done brilliantly. It bodes well for 2012.

Sounds a fun game 16

Hidden Text:

When watching the film it was pretty clear to me that they wanted to imply he was dead. If I hadn't kept up with TDK rumours on the net it'd have never crossed my mind he might still be alive. I never really bought the Dent's dead but Two Face lives theory despite it's plausability in movie terms, simply because it doesn't fit with the world Nolan's created. Dent became and was Two Face, Two Face was Dent after Dent had his face burnt off and his mind corrupted by Joker, he didn't suddenly grow another soul or anything that could live on if Dent ever died, that sort of stuff doesn't happen in Nolans Gotham. I suppose in reality the real Harvey Dent died when he became Two Face, the man of great morals and spirit was gone even though he hadn't physically died.

Circus Diablo is an alternative rock band, formed in early 2006 in Los Angeles. The band consists of Billy Morrison (Member of Camp Freddy, former member of The Cult) on vocals, Billy Duffy (Member of The Cult) on lead guitar, Ricky Warwick (former member of The Almighty) on rhythm guitar, Brett Scallions (former frontman and Lead singer of Fuel) on bass guitar and Jeremy Colson (formerly worked with Steve Vai) on drums.

Velvet Revolver drummer Matt Sorum joined the band afterwards, playing drums on the band's debut album. They appeared on Ozzfest 2007 on a rotating slot for a long period, but dropped out due to two of the guitarists wives being pregnant and giving birth.

On April 29th 2007, the band signed a record deal with Koch Records for the release of their debut album, which happened on July. During the summer, the track "Loaded" featured prominently on the Sirius hard rock satellite station Octane, as well as terrestrial radio, and reached the top 20 slot according to Billboard Magazine.

Beyond Good and Evil was a 2001 album by The Cult - their first new recording in six and a half years. The title of the record is a reference to Nietzsche's book of the same title, and the record briefly had the mock working title of Bring Me the Head of Dave Grohl. In 2006, singer Ian Astbury claimed via the band's website that his preferred choice for the record's title was Demon Process.

The record debuted at #37 on the charts in the United States, #22 in Canada, #25 in Spain.

Only one single, "Rise", was officially released. The songs "Breathe" and "True Believers" were released as promotional singles but not as official singles.
