2006 had a HUGE buzz, and in fact, it was even buzzier than 2002. Those Hammerstein shows had incredible buzz, and the US tour wasnt plagued by the cancellations of 2002. Furthermore, Axl was in tip-top shape, rivaling his 1992-93 performances. Should have been released in 2006 with the tour, would be much more successful, and more successful than a November 2002 release.

i wouldnt be surprised if if they toured, then at least 1/3 of the audience would be new-gnr diehards. they will pay any obscene amount of money to see the band.

its in my cd player in my car and when the mood strikes i put on a few songs. i'd say i listen to close to a song a day at least

my girlfriend loves it (SOD, TIL) and my brother still has it in his car cd player. other than that i dont think ive really listened to the album with anyone else.

just the way he incorporated axl's melody, the rhythm guitar, and robin and bucket leads...really great stuff.

im in college and i get pissed when i have to write a five page paper. i just put that mygnr post into a standard double spaced format...axl wrote a fifteen page paper regarding keeping the name! lol

Yeah, I used to listen to him on WAAF in Boston. I thought that name sounded familiar.
ya i remember he left waaf, went to wbcn for like a week, and then disappeared. wonder where he is now.

We've been playing CD for a few weeks and are now switching to "Better" Here's the problem with playing too much of the new stuff. We try not to play the same bands inside of 90 minutes or so...so as not to appear to be "playing the same shit over and over" So...if we play more than 1 song at a time for a few weeks from the CD, we don't play any of the older GnR stuff...and that pisses off a lot of fans. To be honest...it angers more than it attracts by playing new stuff. So, there's why your local station might not be playing more than 1 song from "CD" right now. Those that are...aren't playing stuff from AFD or UYI as much, and disappointing those people who want to hear the songs they love from GnR.
