robin's got stage presence on stage with guns n' roses. DJ doesn't. stage presence = epic solos. robin's TIL solo's epic. the greatest. i surprised you don't rate it the best. what do you rate the greatest? i rate robin's TIL solo #1. better than slash's child o' mine. better than stairway to heaven. better than layla. better than them all. you're mind should be changed. axl should change his mind bringing robin back for the fans
This is a joke right? There is no way anyone in their right mind believes this.

Damn you Lofton! That CM Punk thing really fucked up my chances of winning. I don't think you have anything to worry about, unless something strange occurs. I think the game ends after SS anyway.
Note to BLS Pride: I think Shawn Michaels is returning soon at next month's PPV, so you should be getting points from him.

Yep, dump all the Chinese material in to a boxset for the hardcores. It would probably be quite profitable. Then, either start from scratch with the new lineup and call it a "solo" act or play the reunion card. Just my two cents.
The problem with further New GNR releases is that UMG will probably refuse to release it because of how bad that CD did. I think there almost has to be something original GNR bundled it here to make sure that it'll sell.
The reunion card is the only thing that Axl has in his corner that anybody (ie mainstream) is interested in right now. That's why Azoff won't ever dump him--it's a free lottery ticket waiting to be cashed out whenever Axl changes him mind about Slash.
I agree with most about the media--they're on his side and let's face it the public likes comeback stories. Axl has one tailor for made whenever he chooses to reunite. He's already been knocked down several pegs with the CD fiasco.

Not that I don't believe this, because it does seem pretty logical. But the Daily News isn't the most credible paper is it? I thought it had a bit of a reputation as a gossip kind of paper, and it is in the gossip section.
I think you're thinking about the NY Post which has a notorious rep for being a gossipy/ unreliable newspaper.
Back to the topic, if he fires Azoff , the list of people who are interested in managing him is very short and he'd be back to a Merck/Goldstein type manager
which isn't good news for anyone--fans or Axl.
anyone think this meltdown has to do with his muse and great obsession of his life Steph is back on the market??
To be honest, the meltdown happened long before that.

I would've loved to have been a fly on the wall for those negotiations with Best Buy. They had to have sold them a whole bunch of nonsense and promises that they just never followed through on. I can only imagine. I'm surprised there hasn't been a public outlash from BB to this point. Already we know that Best Buy asked for and was promised a video, which has never come. I bet that's just the tip of the iceberg. There's probably some serious lawsuits going on right now that we know nothing about.
I think they come off as idiots to the public if they made a complaint and their company is already in some financial trouble. I don't think the public knows how much they overpaid for Chinese Democracy. Neemo said it was like $10 a cd in another thread. They're also depending on Axl Rose which isn't a very smart strategy since he's extremely unreliable.
And lastly, like Russ said I'm not exactly crying for them since CC's demise their prices on their products have pretty much sucked.

Just watched "Doubt."
Great acting but the story isn't all that great and it takes awhile before the conflict explodes. I'd give it an 8/10 because the 4 main actors in the film all did a great job.
The story is kinda slow but I've always wondered why he never fought the charges more vigourosly since the evidence she had on him was kinda skimpy. I also liked the racial component of the storyline. It's closer to a 6 or a 7 in my book.
Last movie seen: Reservoir Dogs
Improves upon every subsequent viewing.

They did support the album in my mind. They gave him 13 million dollars and close to 10yrs of patience because he was Axl Rose. They sent different producers and whatnot when there were problems with the album. Jimmy Iovine checked in on them periodically during the making of the album. I'm pretty sure the label had something to do with the buzz around 2000 when there were several articles about GNR returning and relesing CD.
It just sounds like another excuse from Axl to deflect blame from the bad sales.
