The conspiracy nut in me is REALLY looking forward to this show.  He was on Stern a few months back and although he sounded dangerously close to being a nutcase, he was VERY entertaining.  This show could be good.

Body Found in Septic Tank Believed to Be That of Missing Florida Toddler

Sunday , November 29, 2009

The body of a child found at the bottom of an uncovered septic tank is believed to be that of a missing Florida toddler, MyFoxTampaBay.com reported.

Luis Martinez, 2, disappeared Friday afternoon from a neighbor's house on Silver Lane in Valrico, Fla. His parents reported him missing at about 3:30 p.m.

Police are waiting for the medical examiner's office to confirm the identity of the body, according to MyFoxTampaBay.com.

Hillsborough County Sheriff David Gee said grass was covering most of the tank, which had an opening about 11 inches wide.

"It was a very dangerous situation," Gee told MyFoxTampaBay.com. "You couldn't even see the hole plug — it was missing, probably for several years, and grass had grown over it."

About 400 volunteers helped search for Luis Saturday morning, according to the sheriff.

"Our hearts broke ... just the manner in which this all happened," said Gee.

Hillsborough Sheriff's Col. Greg Brown said earlier Saturday that investigators had identified sex offenders who live within a 5-mile radius of the house where Luis disappeared, which is standard procedure in missing child cases.

Officials from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement conducted interviews at the scene and helped in the search for Luis. Authorities used dogs, horses and helicopters in the hunt for the child on Friday.

I gotta say, what the hell is up with Florida?  It seems whenever there is a horrible story about a brutal child killing or anything to do with finding a kid in a septic tank, it happens in Florida.

Tiger Woods: Injuries Caused by Wife, Not SUV

Posted Nov 28th 2009 6:08AM by TMZ Staff

Tiger Woods did not suffer facial lacerations from a car accident. They were inflicted by his wife, Elin Nordegren -- according to a conversation Woods had Friday after the accident.

Tiger has yet to be formally interviewed by the Florida Highway Patrol -- that should happen this afternoon. But we're told Tiger had a conversation Friday -- with a non-law enforcement type -- detailing what went down before his Escalade hit a fire hydrant.

We're told he said his wife had confronted him about reports that he was seeing another woman. The argument got heated and, according to our source, she scratched his face up. We're told it was then Woods beat a hasty retreat for his SUV -- but according to our source, Woods says his wife followed behind with a golf club. As Tiger drove away, she struck the vehicle several times with the club.

Tiger WoodsWe're told Woods became "distracted," thought the vehicle was stopped, and looked to see what had happened. At that point the SUV hit the fire hydrant and then hit a tree.

We're also told Woods had said during the conversation Friday he had been taking prescription pain medication for an injury, which could explain why he seemed somewhat out of it at the scene.

I know we have some members who work in retail.  Are you ready for Black Friday?  I personally have to work on Thanksgiving, then I have to be at work at 4 AM on Friday.

Who works on Black Friday?  And who plans to be one of the crazy people who go shopping?

Am I the only one who thought this thread would be related to Michael Jackson?

There is no way in hell this is his last tour.  Even if he doesnt release another album, the money he has won't last forever.

Cops: Toddler Beaten to Death With Video Game Controller
Tuesday , April 08, 2008
AP

YORK, Pa. —
A 2-year-old girl died after being beaten with a video game controller by her mother's boyfriend and new charges are expected, police said Tuesday.

Darisabel Baez was pronounced dead late Monday at Hershey Medical Center, police Lt. Ron Camacho said.

The girl's mother, Neida E. Baez, 19, called for an ambulance Sunday saying her boyfriend, Harve L. Johnson, had brought the unconscious child to her, limp and wet from an attempt to revive her in a bathtub, a police affidavit said.

Johnson acknowledged beating the girl with a video game controller but did not say why, police said. Baez said Johnson had abused the girl in the past and said she heard the girl scream after Johnson beat her Sunday, according to the affidavit.

Johnson, 26, was charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and other counts.

Baez was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. Detective Dana Ward said Baez was charged because she did not intervene or try to get help for Darisabel.

Camacho said that because of the girl's death new charges would be filed.

Johnson and Baez remained in custody Tuesday. His bail was set at $200,000; hers was $25,000.

Through police, family members declined requests for interviews Tuesday. Court officials said they did not know whether Johnson and Baez had lawyers to speak for them.

Jury Finds Man Guilty Of Beating 2-Year-Old Girl To Death
Havre Johnson Found Guilty In 2-Year-Old's Death
WGAL.com
updated 7:21 a.m. ET, Mon., Nov . 16, 2009

YORK, Pa. - WGAL.com

A York jury has found Havre Johnson, 28, guilty of first degree murder in the killing of his girlfriend's 2-year-old child.

The jury got the case just before noon on Friday. By 1:30 p.m. the guilty verdict was in.

"Justice has been served. Thats what we were expecting … and that's what we got," said the victim's grandfather, Louis Leon.

The verdict followed four days of testimony about the beating death of Darisabel Baez, who was killed in April 2008.

Her mother, Neida Baez, pleaded guilty last month to third-degree murder as part of a plea bargain. Johnson beat the girl for up to an hour, York police said. She suffered severe injuries to her head, brain and lungs. Testimony revealed she was struck with an X-box controller. She died a day after she was taken to the hospital.

Forensic nurse Patti O'Brien testified during the trial.

"What I saw was the most horrific thing I've ever seen -- covered from head to toe, badly beaten and unconscious," she said.

The child's murder happened in a house on West Philadelphia Street in York. Johnson lived there with the little girl's mother.

Darisabel's grandparents said she had been a happy toddler, an angel.

"Quite frankly when a 2-year-old is murdered, the community weeps forever. That's the bottom line for it," said prosecutor Tim Barker.

Johnson showed no emotion during the reading of the verdict. He could face the death penalty.

Neida Baez faces 5 to 10 years in prison.
