After Chinese Democracy didn't meet my expectations I kind of stopped following the band, but obviously I was hoping they would do well regardless. Seeing stuff like this just makes me glad I am pretty over this band.

Damn that Ron! See while reading your post it immediately jumped to my eyes that it was Ron's fault that you were disappointed in CD and you stopped following the band. 
Ok amd done with my sarcasm. Jack it's tough following a band that DOES NOT update their fans. I seriously didn't know they were still on tour.

Unbelievable. And as for your previous post. Any of them hired Guns as soon as they should decide to leave they will be blamed for everything and anything. If Axl is constipated while a hired Guns leaves well we'll know who to blame. If And that is a HUGE IF Axl was half as smart as those fanboys think he is, he would do everything to keep Ron on board as he is his dream media rep.

Well Axlin can't you see? I can't believe you are so blind. It is all Ron's fault. The long Chinese wait Ron's fault. The fact that the tour MAY be cancelled, Ron's fault. All the world's problems are Ron's fault. The guy is the devil I tell ya! Seriously is the tour on or cancelled?

By blind faith, I mean that people are acting like they know 100% that the tour is just going ahead.
So far as I can tell, I haven't seen anything other than the promoters saying they talked to GN'Rs management and Ron saying "All is good, hold tight"
Seems to me there should've been something official by now.
I agree with you BUT this is GNR and it would not surprise me that the tour is on and there are no "official" word. This band is such a joke.

To be fair to the members...what else could they say? This is what half you guys seem to want:
"They're average songs, nothing special"
"Don't get excited, I've played on better tracks"
"theres a couple that are a bit like the old band, but often it's just a jumble of sound"
Why would brain be anything other than positive about the band?
I have no problem with any member of Axl's band telling us that they have recorded unbelievable tracks or like Brain saif "Shit that is too good so it'll be released. What I have a problem with is when some of them would say that the "launching pad's near" or shit like that. Or the worst is dick who'll say stuff but after that he'll say he was misquoted or that he didn't say anything cause they're too scared of what Axl will say. Or when Dick refused to say who came up with the idea for his guitar solo during the 06 tour. Instead they should just shut the fuck up. And they can also wait to tell us that they recorded awesome tracks till we are close to hear it and see that shit released.

what the fuck, vanilla ice is nu metal?
He recorded a metal album in the mid or late 90's. In 98 I think called Hard to swallow. It's not a horrible album but nothing memorable in it either.
