I liked 3 a lot, but I was a kid so what did I know. Still think it's funny, but it's totally "of its time."

Just saw Mama last night. Lots of creepiness, and an all around solid horror flick. I was excited for it when I read that the writers were proteges of Guillermo del Toro.

Yeah Mama was a solid flick for the most part. Just the ending and certain parts needed work.

Agreed- majority of the flick was creepy, original, and atmospheric. The last 20 mins or so turned Mama into Gollum. She works best in quick jump scares, and sort of fell apart when you're just looking at her for minutes at a time.

How far back do you go with that whole desert rock scene, RaZor?  I backed into it from Queens, but have found a bunch of cool stoner metal type bands over the years if you're interested in any names. None as good as Queens at their peak though.

Had no idea of that! I meant to look up the lineup earlier but forgot. That's great news! Songs for the Deaf was killer!

Just read that Nick Oliveri will be guesting too - that must've been a hell of a reconciliation. I wonder who'll tour with him?

Cool info, Intercourse. Always interesting when the true story starts getting sorted out.

I'm sticking with Sonic Reducer. I'd love to see a long time veteran of Machs 2-4 get some screen time. smile

Sorry for the delay in posting - long weekend got in the way, and I was purposely trying to limit internet time for a few days.

This past week, the people demanded November Rain in all it's acoustic glory.

PM me with new suggestions!

Nice find! I'm totally looking forward to this, but hope Josh is firing on all cylinders. Last album was a bit flat, but they (he) are my favorite artists of the last 15-20 years.
