Still depressing and fucked up how many people voted conservatives after a decade plus of austerity & maltreatment.

This election seems to indicate a different picture than the one Brexit offered: a clearer divide between conservatives & progressives. I don't know why labour and the progressives are celebrating quite so much: a conservative alliance between the torys and the DUP is the stuff of nightmares! But that it's a slim, shaky majority is our only saving grace.

They're a bunch of evangelical psychopaths. They're a backwards looking gaggle of hypocrites, corrupt to their rotten core. They're creationists who have vetoed & blocked gay marriage and abortion. Bible thumpers. In terms of governing their record speaks for itself: two scandals (Red Sky & Renewable Heating Initiative) where they have proven how corrupt they are, and yet people still flock in their sectarianism to vote for them.
They probably will kowtow to the tories eventually & be dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century. Or maybe not. It looks like the tories need the DUP to form a government, but by the same token the DUP need the conservatives because they can have no alliance with the progressives.

DUP scumbag voters will give conservatives their majority. Only need 322 since scumbag sinn fein voters means that party won't be taking their 7(!) seats, & they'll have 325 w/DUP's 10 seats.
Fuck this place.

Been loving the new series. Thought ep1 was really really off but it's been increasingly great since then. Dunno how you jump into it having not watched the original. You're not going to have much clue what's going on unless you read up on it.
Ep5 was a bit of a downer tho - I'm growing in concern for Coop not snapping back to his old self, it is getting a bit worrying. I thought the coffee would've done the trick. But seeing him as Dougie is still funny & Naomi Watts is doing a great job.
Fargo's better mind. & has Ray Wise in it this season.

Fans have wanted set list variety. They played Black Hole Sun!! The reasons for doing it suck of course(death) but no one in a million years could've predicted that they would play that song.
I do agree they're playing at too fast a tempo.
I always thought the complaints on this issue were a bit overboard but it was really noticeable on the title track.
I have been complaining about the set lists since 06, but let me tell you when you're in it it's fucking brilliant. DTJ, Estranged, Coma, Civil War.
But the thing is, you wanna have a wee smoke for DTJ outro, then you want a smoke for Estranged & Coma etc & before long it just becomes a blur, a whirlwind, where you can appreciate it all. It's just that wee bit too fast. It's all over too soon.
Tbh I couldn't even hear Axl all that well on most tracks we were singing along so much. Fuckin BHS was like a communal release. It was a moment of mass grieving. It wasn't even whoa that's awesome they're playing BHS, it was like "fuckin Chris.." it was a classy but inescapably extremely sad moment. It wasn't cool, it was just sorrowful & tragic.

The UK needs Labour & Corbyn. They're the only option.
It also needs to wipe the slate with the right wing nutters who spin & run the media.
I'm not hopeful & I think the election has prob been decided years ago, when the progressive ideas got swamped by Blairs behaviour.
There is finally a feeling of resurgence but it has come far too late, too late for last year & too late for this.

Just a bit of context for that Slash clip ^ Jessica is theme song for top gear the tv show. Slash guested on the show & they got him to play Jessica. He was really rubbish at driving.
