james thats flawed logic. dizzy plays guitar too but doesnt play guitar on the album, same thing with axl. just because you play something doesnt mean you specialize in it. i dont see how his cello abilities translate to axls faith in him. there is no doubt in the world that fortus can play any note that robin plays. that isnt being a fortus lover, that is sitting here and saying objectively that he is an accomplished enough player to do so.

fortus is more than capable of pulling off robins solos. who knows though maybe we could get a bucket/bumble monster. imagine them doing a solo in the middle of a show instead of a christina aguilera interpretation. nice.

i do think is SR, based on the description that said it starts out with "axl singing in a really low register" and the bucket work.

somebody said something about the haunting parts of this song and that really described this part perfectly for me.

if i were to look for a weakness, it would be the solos. they start off really strong but dont really have much of a direction.

I really have a lot of hope for these songs on the album. Songs like Chinese Democracy, Rhiad and the Bedouins, and IRS have all been juiced up for the better with new solos since we were first exposed to them. I wouldnt be surprised if anything else has changed for the better since these demos.
