agree...Richard is a much better lead player than rhythm...he is a shitload better than dj imo

I would agree....and that was a good article. When he took the name, he took complete control and thus, ultimate responsibility. hmm

I think he is financially fine and is just simply having a good time at this point. Nothing more nothing less. The dvd releases and things may be held up by Geffen/Uni since they are still under contract with them. Who knows the real reason why we don't get anything.....

Axl's finances are fine. I am quite sure of that. You need to keep in mind alot of big name artists hold back on releasing the vault stuff. I imagine because they want to wait until late in life to release it as some form of retirement security. Look at the Stones...it took Mick 30-40 years before he released  proper live dvds of the 1972 tour and  the 1978 tour. That shit was sitting around forever. Dylan finally started unloading his vault after a good 30 years. Van Halen has yet to release much of anything vault related.

Gnr still sells records and concert tickets...a steady income is still in play. No need to rush anything out.

Just giving another angle. 5

Board of what?

speculation....and the Beta/Team Brazil stuff is sooooooo played out. Peter Grant was an asshole too as are thousands of other  alleged "managers". Axl runs the show. Period. I think we all need to accept the fact that it all comes down to him and him only. You wouldn't even know of Beta or met Beta had it not been for Axl dragging them in.

As for the topic, as I have said a million times before, Axl's finances and the bands finances, whether back in the day or now, aren't our business. We are fans. We want product. I am pretty sure he is doing quite well...as are all the original band members.

Speculating on shit like this is silly. Who really cares? I do like to see factual legal documents where you get the real skinny on things. Threads like this just don't interest me just as the ripping of Beta doesn't interest me. It was a fucking joke. Let it go. She was a bitch to Stacey. Ok. We get it. India here we come. 17

Sounds like you may have more than a few threads mixed up here.

You think! tommy 14

you forgot to add Paul Huge into James' real name! I think the discography's match up pretty even. Gnr was just more popular due to 5-6 huge singles in a 3-4 year period.....and Soundgarden never had a Sweet Child O' Mine moment where you really affected pop culture.

I wager Axl and Izzy are simply better friends with each other than with the other guys. There is something about guys you grow up with during your teen years. It's a deep connection that doesn't exist with Duff and Slash.

no it wasn't ....she really wants to play bass because Tommy sucks. He is quitting anyday now. That's REALLY it.
