Thats not a stroke, sorry but you dont wake up the next day fine after a stroke.
My friend had a stroke at 25, blood vessel burst in his brain, he lost the use of one arm and took over a year of physio to get himself to 90%. And he was very lucky, he knew the signs, and managed to call an ambulance and post his keys through the letter box before collasping.

I would love a new album, I'm still holding on to the dream I'll have a new album to play this Christmas. But these latest "rumours" have been started on mygnr by mygnr members, sarcasticly at that imo.
They "should have" released a video to support the tour, but they didnt. A new album with all the trimmings to support a Euro/US tour would apparantly be logical, hence it wont happen, and the same incognito approach to promotion will continue.
Thats my new philosophy nowadays, a kind of reverse psychology. I've noticed when everyone is expecting anything off GNR nothing happens, but when noone has any expectations of them, they are more for forthcoming. So there will be no new album, no videos, no CD rerelease, they will be late at Reading, there will be riots, and my lottery numbers absolutely will not come up tonight so I wont be able to buy that house across town I want more than anything

GNR will do fine, its a music festival, end of story. Only way any real hostility will happen is if Axl isnt punctual, and they have promised to not to be late. I think the Friday will be a good day out, expensive though.

i dont believe it, mygnr folk have started CD2 rumour threads for shits and giggles and on cue "insiders" make their triumphant return.
Would be nice but I couldnt give a fuck about rumours, when Axl says its on, then I'll believe.

So in the best news for me ever, I have now won a ticket to this event and will be there!!
Thanks heaps to Mikka for alerting to me to this tour in the first place, Aussie for his advice, and also to MTV Classic for looking after a fan.
Best thing is I have to go into Hospital for a minor operation on Thursday, and I hate stuff like that, so have been dreading next week, but now that i'm seeing Slash wednesday night, it's going to be a great week afterall.

Alice Cooper mentions Axl quite a bit on his breakfast show and is always complimentary, you can tell he's still cool with Axl.
Axl and Slash will have loads of mutual freinds, its unavoidable. When Baz was recording Angel Down and told Axl he wanted to cover Back In The Saddle, Axl immediately picked up his phone and called Steven Tyler to ask him if it was cool. I dont think Axl is as unconnected and isolated as people think, he just keeps his private life, private.
