Wow. The drug casualties continue.......

Ah, too late. Should've happened many years ago. It will never live up to your guys expectations. Take it from an old school fan who got to see some of the 80's dream matches happen in the mid late 90's.

It just sounds like he's trying to paint Russia as being as strong as the USSR was because they've lost the fear and respect they had in the 50s - 80s.  Considering the USSR history in the region, I think he should probably keep his mouth shut on the issue.

Russia is a major player on the world stage. When the dollar crashes, Russia and not China fills the power vacuum. I find it laughable(and I'm sure Putin does as well) how the US(specifically the media) doesn't take Russia seriously. They are sitting on more oil and other energy sources than the rest of the world combined. Russia makes the middle east look like a puddle of oil at your local auto shop. They have the largest nuclear arsenal in the world, and Putin has rebuilt their military. Their navy is no longer corroded with rust in harbor.Their military is well rested while the US fights meaningless wars.

While the dollar loses value by the day, the Euro takes its place slowly as the world's top currency. While we pile on the debt by billions a day, Russia continues signing huge agreements with Euro and Asian countries building pipelines throughout the continent.

Russia not strong? Are you kidding? While we sit on a 9 trillion dollar and growing debt, Russia is up to its neck in money. They dont even know what to do with it. Their middle class is booming, while ten years ago their middle class didn't even exist anymore.

Just because Russia doesn't jump into ridiculous wars doesn't mean they aren't strong. Putin is very smart.  He isnt going to do what the US and Russia did during the cold war and fight a bunch of proxy wars. He's going to sit back and let us kill ourselves.

I want that HOB 2001 dvd more than the record at this point, as I know one exists.

I am a huge BH fan, and I consider the 2001 lineup to be the best lineup in the post Izzy era(no offense Bumblefoot), but my interest in that HOB vid has dropped to pretty much zero. The people hoarding that really dropped the ball big time. They could have had every demo in circulation in early 06. Once the 06 tour started and things started moving along, interest in that show and era of the band dropped dramatically.

It was almost worthless in 06, and it really became worthless in 07 when Madagascar leaked, since it was rumored that the main page of the DVD had a studio version of Madagascar playing. That was one of the things that added to its myth.

Will I watch it if it leaks? Yeah. Will I care if it never leaks? No, especially considering we have the CD era's best show already in great quality(Rio 01),.

I only caught bits and pieces of the game. I always flip back and forth when I watch football. I really hope the Pats and Colts are both undefeated when they play. That game is going to be huge. That is turning into a rivalry just like the Dallas-SF rivalry of the mid 90's.

The teen stars from the 80's were disciples of Mother Teresa compared to these morons.

Its still not believable. If its true, then the fanbase might as well give up now while Axl completely kills off the legacy. Recording AFD in the 97-99 timeframe? Kinda lame, but believable, and since he's lived off the record and toured behind it since, its understandable. Recording UYI era tracks in 2007? Regardless of whether those tracks will be released or not, it means there's not even an album of original CD era material and this project is going nowhere. If you have some vision that Axl has supposedly had for the past 10 years, you dont start recording UYI crap 10 years into the new GNR era with no material since 93.

Its absurd. If its true, a reunion will never happen mainly because all the ex members will die from laughing.

I have a cleaned up version of the HOB version. If I can find it, I'll post it. Sadly, that is the best performance of the song.

If James hasn't done it soon, then i will.  3

If you have easy access to it, post it up. I was looking for it earlier, but I have way too many cd-rs to be able to track down one random song on them.
