It was a mess, who really knows what happened or why.
I like the title track as much as the next guy who liked grunge and German pop metal but it is an average track on it's best day.
It makes for a phenomenally bad comeback and reintroduction.
Here's your perfect lead-in:
The place goes dark.
Radio feedback screeches over the speaker system.
Soft white noise.
More feedback.
Somethings coming in...
Archival clips flood the screens.
"Welcome to the Jung--- "
More feedback as the dial shifts.
"Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose has been missing..."
"---Youuuuu could beeeee mi iineeeee"
"... The Guns N' Roses frontman..."
"Sweet child solo....."
".... Missing for 10 years..."
The lights in the place start to search the place in a giant spotlight pattern.
"Where is Axl Rose?"
"WHERE IS AXL ROSE?"
"WHAT HAPPENED TO GUNS N ROSES?"
A frenzied wave of tones fill the arenas as the spotlight stops on center stage...
A shadowy figure approaches the microphone slowly.
He surveys the arena.
Pause.
NO ONE EVER TOLD ME WHEN
I WAS ALONE
THEY JUST THOUGHT
I'D KNOW BETTER
BETTER
The lights kick on right on the main riff... pyro cannons into the air...
Axl Rose returns, lean, cut, angry, dressed in tight black jeans, black gloves, a leather jacket, and vintage aviators.

Would Universal be ok if Axl were willing to release everything he has as a solo project? Of course I know he is stubborn and that's very unlikely.
As far as I've heard, Axl = GNR to the record company.

So for any of you out there with Xfinity as a cable service, search on your remote for Guns n Roses and you'll see the new ISE video and SCOM video on demand, as well as a Guns N Roses playlist from Music Choice. Play that, and it's 50 mins of GnR music videos (jungle, scom, pc, nr, etc) but the last is that fake Bad Apples video that uses mostly Don't Cry rooftop footage. Maybe this only interests me but...how does this happen? I find it amusing. Maybe a TB intern put it together from Youtube.

If I'm not mistaken, doesn't Chinese Democracy, Appetite for Democracy, and now AFD 26th fulfill the terms of the rumored contract?
It'd be interesting to know where they stand moving forward.
Reissues like AFD remastered are usually on a new, separate contract. Also, I don't think the DVD would count as a record.
I think they're still owing 1 record to Uni.

I found it now and found it interesting, but I knew I had seen very similar pictures and wondered if it was coincidence that he photographed the TV at the same time.
Well, according to a forum, it's fake and the photos are from photographer Robert John who recorded the show.I know it's 2011, but when I saw it I thought there might be some connection.
As far as I know, Robert John PHOTOGRAPHED the show, but he didn't record it.
It was a separate team. Also, after HOB 2002 (the other show we don't have and nothing ABSOLUTELY nothing has surfaced), prior do the 2002 tour, him and axl parted ways over the quality of the photos.
