#181 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Duff finally writing an autobiography. » 822 weeks ago
Like Duff can really remember 87-93.
At least he won't guess and get shit wrong like other people who write books.
If there is a slight chance that we could find out what happened to this band and who really did what we will never get as good a chance as this. Slash's book was full of lies and he changes his story a couple times during the book. Axl well I won't go there. Duff as always been somewhat neutral. He's always said that GNR got to big too quick and that was a big factor on why it blew up. Wanna know if it's true Axl held a show hostage until those guys signed away the rights to the name? If he confirms it I'll believe Duff. But I clearly don't believe Slash cause he has 2 versions of that story. One on book and one on the Behind the music. And both versions are VERY different.

I'llread this for sure as I'd take Duff's version of the story over Slash's or Axl's. Interviews I have seen of Duff shows him as calm and he seems to be the one that sees the GNR situation the best in my opinion.

I thought I'd start this thread cause today is a sad day. 29 years ago Mark David Chapman killed John Lennon. Truly a music legend, Lennon was taken away from us by a maniac. Even to this day John Lennon still inspires many musicians. RIP John Lennon. You are truly missed.

imagine some of the CD songs we've never heard live!
I rarely download music. Not saying I never do but I rarely do. And usually the boots are not good sounds. If they would put out a soundboard like others do up on their site I'd probly download it even buy it. And that is IF they play new songs. And axlin as for Ashba. I think he could bring something good but as of this moment I am not excited by his addition. Matter of fact even though GNR are about to tour I'm not excited at all. And I think part of it is due to the fact that now we do have CD so to me the mystery is gone.
If anyone's Axl its him
*LMFAO* Well I'm sorry to disappoint any of you but Axl Rose I am not. And it is unfortunate cause if I was you'd have yet another record out just about now.

I've got a bunch of boots from 06 and 07 that weren't sound boards that sound great.
But I can see why some people still stay away from them. As for me; I'll be listening to anything and everything as soon as it's available.
Oh and I'm not condoning people who do. Just I don't do it.

Me I don't really care about noots. I'll be looking at the setlists for sure but not sure I will download any boots. I hope they come up with a different show. What I would really like though and I know that is a huge pipe dream is another record in 2010. As a matter of fact I'd love that Axl would just empty the vaults from those CD sessions and get it over with. Release a box set.

RIP Umaga. It is a shame we lose another wrestler at such a young age.
