it cant all be bad. I mean he's updating his fans on a very regular basis, sure its sorta just to help promote the album, but he's keeping us engaged.
absolutely.
she is ensuring that slash enters the 21st century and becomes relevant again...after all, he funds all of their activities...:-)...
she wants him out there, she wants him popular, and she wants him famous again...
not a bad thing at all, and if it brings him to the top of music charts worldwide, i will be happy...and as long as he does some good guitar work as well...

guys....Perla is in charge of Slash's career...
she's a gold digger...she feels that she got screwed of potential millions she could have had by Axl agreeing to a reunion....so she needs to make that cash up somewhere else.
She's a fan of plastic pop music, and she will advise slash to go for those personalities which will ensure top of chart positions....simple as that.
a pussycat doll will do just that...fergie will do just that.
this album is meant to bring slash into heavy rotation on mtv and at the same time stock the bank with some much needed dollaz...
we can only hope that there is something on there for us to salivate over.

Cmon guys...she dated a drummer, and then decided to lash the lead singer one day...if she had any connection to axl other than that, we would have heard about her on a few different occasions from everybody in the band...she was a groupie chick they were hitting back in the day, and that's that...she's just trying to score some free publicity for herself and her new band...if axl got a cent every time one of these hangers on used his name to get themselves their 15 minutes...he'd be even richer...
#15 Re: Guns N' Roses » Message to GNR fans asking about tour plans (from Ron): » 824 weeks ago
how did we get dates back in 06?
can anyone remember?
was it an official announcement from gnr that they are going on tour and here are the dates, or were we informing ourselves by crawling on the net?
how did it happen then?
#16 Re: Guns N' Roses » How far for GNR? » 824 weeks ago
Flew from Africa to Europe in 06 to see them...when the South Africa gigs were scheduled, booked flights and accomodation around the country to see all shows...
Not sure if I'd do the cross continental trip again, unless I was guaranteed of meeting them, but I would do the local tour...

which I think is a lot more important than selling actual discs
only if it reflects in the bank somehow....otherwise it ain't important for shit...all it shows is that a shitload of people went there to check it out... doesn't indicate in any way that they were serious about buying/supporting it...
#18 Re: Guns N' Roses » Super-Speculative Reunion Thread. » 826 weeks ago
A reunion would bring a lot of money in and make fans happy
i think it will cause more damaged than bringing with it anything worthwhile, honestly...the only way fans will be happy is if they get to see and experience the same magic they last saw in the early nineties...
and frankly, too much has happened in the last decade and a half for that to happen naturally...
it will be staged, it will be cold, and it will happen purely to fulfill some or other contractual obligation...and i don't want to see it that way...then they must not even contemplate that as a solution...

TWAT...by far the strongest song on the album for me....i'd go as far to say the strongest song i've heard in the last 10 years....with ease.
textured, layered, musical genius on so many different levels....and lyrically the most accomplished piece on the record.
