Additionally, "Chinese Democracy" is still #10 on the rock chart as well.

Yeah, that's some real "talent" that he has.

Apparently, at least half of the album is going to consist of Pump, Get A Grip, and Nine Lives outtakes.
That was the original plan, at least.

I've never been a Deadhead, and fucking bullshit like this makes me proud of that fact. Way to rape the die-hard fans, guys.
$100 a ticket? Garcia has to be rolling over in his grave right about now.
Even in 2009, The Dead have become corporate whores. It's a sad, sad day.

Good point though. If Axl is content with the current interest/sales data concerning GNR, then there's no reason for fans to feel the opposite. If he's serious about moving forward, then there's nothing wrong with moving forward while not being on top of the world.
In fact, any musical output in the future could be more interesting without the insane expectations attached. Go check out that Bucket/Brain jam I posted in the kick ass vids thread in Black Hole section. I'd love to see Axl tackle something like that even though I know it would never go top 10. All I care about is good music.
That is kind of what I was saying....
Burning, it is pretty well known that Best Buy bought between 1.3 to 1.6 million units so 1/3rd of the stock is gone. Just sayin.
Rounding things up is easier on my brain!

Best Buy bought roughly 2 million copies up front, right?
502,000 of those copies have been sold since November 23rd.
So, that means that in it's first month and a half of release, Best Buy has sold roughly 1/4th of it's entire stock.
That's pretty damn impressive.
At a discount and over a 6-7 week period when it was the ONLY place you could purchase it in the US. Not so impressive.
How do you figure?
It was available at ONE store. It's been out for only 6 weeks, and 1/4th of the entire stock was sold. How is that possibly bad in any way, shape, or form?

1/4th of BB's total stock a month and a half after the release.
Awesome!

#20 Re: The Garden » How large is your cd collection? » 875 weeks ago
Probably about 400 or so - I purge my collection occasionally since I get so many promos from work. I'll take a few pics at some point and post them.
