I would assume that legally they probably can't just start another official website because of the contract with MLB with the current site - otherwise that would be the easiest solution.
Somebody listed the cities, some venues and dates of the South American tour. Fernando was simply responding that those cities, venues, and dates that WERE posted weren't 100% officially confirmed. That's all.
Yeah and again, it seemed like a nice thing to do to me. The SA dates start in March and a bunch of people made travel plans for all the other shows. So it seemed like a nice gesture to make sure no one gets screwed on SA travel.
But somehow people find this to be a bad thing?
Russ it is a nice thing but coming from GNR you can't blame the fans for jumping the gun here. Seriously I would not be surprised if this tour got cancelled. And I wouldn't be if it happens. Thing is with GNR and Axl is that you have to expect that the tour can and could be scraped especially with a message like this. History shows that Axl has no qualms on canceling tours.

The rest of the MLB sites I frequent have their facts straight.
I think the problem is AXL not MLB.
Axl can't do no wrong Fat. So it's MLB's fault. Next year look forward to seeing the NFL getting to be blamed for something by GNR.

Will anybody really be surprised if this tour gets cancelled?

Is it normal that I did not remember the date it was released? And is it normal that quite frankly it doesn't change anything that it's been one year today? Should I care? And I'm not being mean here. Somehow if Russ hadn't remembered I sure wouldn't have.

Really good to see you around Big Boss. Sp1at was one of my first GNR boards actually. Have some good memories there and a few bad but not BB's fault. As for insiders here is my take. I believe there are some true insiders on the boards. Mysteron, BB too name a few are what I believe insiders. They probably have acccess to information we do not have. Difference is that as far as GNR are concern or with Axl, insiders become irrelevant cause any information those people have can change by the time they post the information. At this point I wouldn't even trust Beta for information or Baz. The insiders or Baz(can't believe I'm about to stick up for Baz) do have information that I believe was true when it was given to them but unfortunately doesn't remain true. Were those people insiders for another big more stable band, those guys would probably be heroes amongst the board communities of those bands. Unfortunately with GNR they get treated like vilains. Sure there are fake insiders but I believe some are legit. Hell at this point even info from Axl has to be taken with a grain of salt.

Whatever happened Sp1at, Big Boss and Gigger? I went to the new site but have lost the link and haven't been there in forever.
