#2181 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Classic Rock talks to Slash about Weiland, VR and Solo Disk » 900 weeks ago
It was after reading Slashs book I realised he spins things to make himself look better. He is the guy who wandered through all those years in a drug and alcohol fueled haze and yet according to his book he never put a foot wrong.
Sorry but I've known and lost too many heroin addicted or alcoholic freinds over the years to swallow that shit.

It seems he's happy for SOME time, but gets bored or uneasy after awhile. He seems happiest now, solo. Although he always SEEMS happy at the present time. He never comes out and says he's not. He always paints the picture that things couldn't be better than we find out years later he was going through hell the whole time.
Or relationships just run their course, then through the media he paints the picture that things were always hell, none of it was ever his fault, and he just soldiered on despite his suffering because he is the poster boy guitar hero

What Buckethead albums does Brain play on?
#2184 Re: Guns N' Roses » Axl Rose just saw The Hangover w/Zakk Wylde in Indiana » 900 weeks ago
Sounds to me like Zakk is just playing around with a couple of his fans from Indiana who twittered him because he is playing there. Infact after reading both sides of the little exchange, its pretty fucking transparent its just a little joke.
#2185 Re: Guns N' Roses » Talking Metal interviews FRANK FERRER » 900 weeks ago
Franks seems really cool and has a lively stage presence, I was well impressed with him when I seen them. But he finds himself in a bit of a similar position to Ron and DJ, by being a replacement of a band member who is pretty popular amonst new GNR fans. Usually the drummer is not that big a deal, but Brains a wizard on the skins, and as much as I like Frank I do hope Brain comes back for the next tour.

Dallas, only because I've never watched an episode of 24 and vaguely remember watching Dallas with my mum when I was little.

X-Files, the first few series were amazing. Cannot stand the American version of The Office.
#2188 Re: Guns N' Roses » The Possibility of a Guns N' Roses '09 Summer tour » 900 weeks ago
Thats the case in a lot of other peoples eyes also, might well be true.
Axl even said in December there was no plans for a tour, and that whole stadium tour thingy was a rumour based on what "industry insiders" apparantly said.
If a new album does come out and they do tour next year, a live setlist with the best off CD, the next album and a few classics thrown in would be my perfect show.

I'm hoping if they do tour next year it will be to push a second album, not a belated CD tour. For me CD was deliberately just thrown to the dogs to let them have their way, I expect the next album to be launched and marketed with a hell of a lot more organisation, pride and determination.
