I think a stark hard, digital rock landscape with Slash throwing down filthy tube driven rock licks and fills with Axl on the top could have been amazing.
Think the harder end of Muse with Axl singing and Slash soloing...

There is a lot of multi-tracked vocal chant work in that song if you listen carefully.

I always thought it was a reference to the Beatles "Yesterday". It sounds like the response to the line "Yesterday came suddenly".

GNR will reunite in 2016.. After Slash's tour.
You're like the divorce child who keeps hoping his parents will get back together.
Just because Slash and Axl don't work together anymore doesn't mean that they don't still love you.
The best thing GNR could do now if Ron does leave is to NOT replace him.
They got Richard Fortus and Dj Ashba in one band. They don't need anyone else.

I didn't really like it at first but I may have started to warm up to it near the end. I'll have to listen again. It is more poppy though for sure, not like their hard rockers they've led their previous albums with.
Yeah. I'm okay with pop once it can grab me and has that drive and that is in this song so it's probably a grower.
But.
I feel like I heard this song 2 years ago done by a band called fun. and they did it much much better

Fortus doesn't play on that track. I think that is the one track on the album he doesn't appear on.
