Faulty Towers and Only Fools were good, but not as good as nostalgia makes them out to be.
I'll take Del Boy and Rodney over Basil and Manuel, I grew up on the show and have too many good memories.

I'm not even sure we got the cartoon over here, I remember the toys but not the cartoon.

I've never really had a problem with sites deleting threads about leaks, I could always see the sense in it. Now I'm in the camp that doesnt want to ruin the new album for myself I can see the point in it even more. My beef was having your point of view censored and deleted, I'm not the most hateful GNR fan in the world and I had fuck knows how many posts vanish into thin air at HTGTH, the blatent one sidedness of the place drove me mad.
But I think as the "big" GNR forums they have a responsibility not to be promoting leaks because they are generally the first site casual fans find.
At the same time I understand that if the stuff is out there people have a right to discuss it, and if a forum is ok with that, like GNREvo, then thats their prerogative and it doesnt bother me in the slightest either.
But I'll be hoping the new music discussions dont spill into other threads as I'll be avoiding those like the plague.

Yeah, all Brain did was move his drum kit to it. Also unless the chicken mesh was made of gold, that and a few bits of wood are not exactly breaking the bank. I dont know if it was Beta or Axl who said, but it just a little fun and meant to humour Bucket.
I thought Axl came across quite big brotherly and level headed the way he took Bucket aside, he came out looking the best in Zutauts story.
It would be pretty fucked up if the jizz flinging, shit sniffing rumour was true, it sounds more like chinese whispers or a malicious rumour intended to mock Bucket.
From Brains story the thing that stood out to me was, he was slaving over those transcribed drum patterns while the other guys were lounging around watching cartoons and movies, indifferent to what he was doing. He made it sound like there was very little going on.
Pity the only song that kept that huge drum sound was Madagascar , a few of the songs could do with a bit more oomph

I seen the clip, I never knew it was literally the work of a peeping tom. Kinda sick in imo.

Oh we need Blackadder, 64 all the way!

A couple of months before the station launched I was driving along to work one morning, and was getting sick of whatever cd I had brought with me. I put on the radio for a change and it was some pop shite that was own so I just hit the autotune button and it scanned for a couple of moments and then "But that old man he's a real muthafucker, Gonna kick him on down the liiiine" burst through the speakers. I was like WTF! They were checking the signal for the new channel and throwing on some tunes
#2318 Re: GNRevolution Madness » GnREvolution Televisions Madness: 32 or 64? » 903 weeks ago
64, but I thought the 32 list was pretty tight and had all recognisable shows.

its also why its so hard to get some of these guys to come and chat with us or answer questions or whatever
Guillermo del Toro, who is directing the The Hobbit movie, occasionally posts on a LOTRs fan site with some nuggets of information.
He had this to say after he had chimed in earlier in the thread to correct an inaccuracy in an interview he had given to Empire:
I try not to read the speculative threads AT ALL. I read the ones regarding news and revelations because I like to chime in with nuggets and ideas, etc but no- I dont read the others- wisdom prevails.
Ardent defenders of every polar opposites can be found in any given forum so, its best not to dwell- we have enough debates amongst ourselves, giving birth to many a great spontaneous, scholarly and passionate simposium.
In the incoming weeks we will explore a lot of ideas and technical possibilities. I will let you in on a few if I can find the time. For now, back to writing-
Much Peace
GDT
He posted that a few months back but it really stuck in my head, it really made me think about debates I've had over the years based on speculation. Nowadays I can rarely summon the will and desire to get drawn in too far to any online debates.
But it makes me wish that GNR could keep an open mind and contribute now and again, and not let the negative and frustrating aspects of the forums put them off completely.

Its different in Canada and the US though because the countries are so big with so many stations. This is in the only rock station in Scotland, it launched about 3 years ago and its the first time the northern half of the UK have a rock station.
Its a great station, very interactive with fans and reguarly putting on events for the listeners. AC/DC never included a Scotland date for the UK tour and the station had a big campaign and petition to get a show and we got one, AC/DC finished the European leg of their world tour with a massive show in the national stadium!
Its all I listen to, the chances of hearing GNR or anything good on the big national stations like Radio 1 are zilch, they just play the shit of the day.
The only way GNR would get airplay on those would be if they were active with a single doing well in the charts.
