Seriously, though - I find it kinda strange that Erin is somehow back (or wants back) in Axl's life considering she and Stephanie Seymour sued him for assault.
I'm all for "forgive & forget" and all that but that's fucked up.

Jokes aside I do miss his (and Brain's) drumming, I'd be lying if I said otherwise so I do understand - but Frank seems like such a cool guy...
I can't rain on his parade after all these years.
No qualms about his quality behind the kit either. He's not dragging anybody down.

I'm with apex-twin on this one. I love Shackler's Revenge and especially its solo, which I feel he nailed.
The fact that we've never heard the original version might play into that but I also feel it is the only work of his that does not feel tacked on or separated from the song itself. I guess you could say that it feels (to me) like he took part in writing/recording the song even though he didn't.

You and me both. It's a bit of a personal favourite.
I think I'd have to travel back to 1986 (or maybe 1993 to an extent) to find live vocals which I like more.

He's at his best vocally since 2010. No doubt about it.
Still some way to go but I reckon he'll get there eventually with a bit of motivation through "competing" with Slash again.
I'd say the same regarding his appearance, not that it's of any great importance personally - as long as he is happy.

I remember that you used to hate the way he would profusely strum his guitar like a madman.
Was pretty funny.
I'm in agreement when it comes to his role in the band as it is now. He fits the bill.

In a perfect world an unaltered version of what Chinese Democracy and its subsequent follow-up(s) were originally supposed to be would get released as one double or even triple album.
This band should continue to focus on going forward with their own ideas and create new music while leaving the past behind.
It's time.

If they ever come to fruition when it comes to writing and recording new material I sincerely hope that Izzy at the very least will get to be a part of that.
Hell, it needs to happen - it absolutely must happen given the circumstances.
If not then what a terrible, terrible waste.

The original leak from 2006 is still the best one. Same with TWAT.
As far as the live versions go I am very glad that they have been allowed to put their own spin on it, though - bodes well for the future.
I would also love to hear Slash's take on The Blues. Preferably stripped down in the same fashion as with CD.
