Wishful thinking.
Slash & Duffer are too busy counting their cash. Think Scrooge mcduck or the desolation of Smaug. Axl's been too busy moonlighting in Acca Dacca.

Only knew him from Alien & Midnight Express, one of which sucked (& Alien is one of my favourite films). And then when he'd pop up as some other character actor in some forgettable film/role.
He had a great face tho. & has his place in the chest bursting scene, one of the iconic moments in film history.

Incidentally, Stinson says there's a wealth of recordings Guns N' Roses made during his tenure that have yet to be released. "There's some stuff with lyrics, some without," he says. "We did a lot of stuff that was supposed to be on Chinese Democracy – the record was meant to be more than one disc, but after spending so much time on it we just had to put an end to it. There's also stuff that was held over from [the original lineup] before they all disbanded, so there's some stuff that should someday see the light of day."

Mount & Blade: Warband has taken over my life.
Best game ever.
Just gone 5 past midnight on a Friday evening & I'm in full swing of my campaign to ethnically cleanse the map of the Vaegirs. They only have 3 castles left. Ragnar, the king of the Nords & I stopped by to lay siege to Yruma castle on our way back from sacking the city of Khudan, just because we could (& for some political & strategic purposes, but mainly to rid the map of the Vaegirs as quickly as possible).
I feel no shame.
I am in full Cersei Lannister mode. I am going to be Queen of Caladria..
Ok, maybe a little shame.. but still this game is absolutely amazing.
There's even a trophy named Holy Diver after the Dio album (best album ever btw).

Wait, I thought he did play on Civil War?
Him failing to record it properly was the tip on the weight scale to boot him out of the band. Maybe he doesn't even remember.
Adler is the drummer on Civil War.
Him shooting up Erin with a speedball was the tip on the scale
Tbh Matt's only real moment for me was YCBM. Other than that I miss Steven across the UYI's.
I quite like the direction they went with with Brain on CD, just there's not much of a groove to the songs.
The more time passes the more I appreciate Steven as an integral sound to what made them such a great band. I used to believe in that old classic rock review that Axl was the only irreplaceable member & you'd still have GnR but that's not true, either in sound or spirit.
In the end, Axl's sacrificed so much greatness for the sake of his own power trip.

Yea I loved Green Room. Loved the gore! I laughed so much. I love that sorta stuff. Good film.
Made me genuinely sad about that guy anton yelchin dying. He had a pretty bizarre death irl,his car slipped out of gear rolled backwards crushing him against his gate.

Did Batman Arkham Night. Left like 10 side quests undone. Exhausting. Game was really great but far too much in it. Major problem was being funnelled away from main story by the abundant side missions so as to level up, XP/upgrades hidden behind mission tally - surely the point of Batman is that you have all this cool shit at your disposal from the get go. I never understand in games why you don't get the full arsenal until the end of the game when you need it least.
Still, the moments where you get to feel like Batman are so fuckin cool. Gliding over Gotham and landing at your destination, surprising henchmen and bad guys - that's where you should unlock XP, for playing in style.
I would probably have gotten more out of it if I were a hardcore comic book/batman guy as there's really a lot in the game.
Doing Mount & Blade: Warband, a medieval rpg at the minute. A friend of mine won't shut up about it & it was on sale so I took a punt. Really horrible graphics (was first released in 2007 I think?) & fairly rudimentary gameplay. Looks like a massive time sink. I dunno.. I can see the appeal, kinda Skyrim-y trekking across landscape doin shitty chores for people, without the high-fantasy. I just dunno if I have it in me to live thru another game like that.
Seriously, I need stuff that's between 3-15 hours. Unless it's a rockstar game..
