A rapper named St. Laz using If the World. Not really sampling it as to just rapping over it. Prob for a mixtape or he himself is a fan of the band or song and wanted to rap over it.

The drums on the chorus of Prostitute sound more like 'Teen Spirit' than what I hear on CD.

The only place where I can notice Frank and don't like it is on Better.

Im talkin about the skrewl leak, with brain on drums. Not the final version

good call dead south....i'm not into all the bootlegs so much but that says to me that BH had little to no prep going into the 2002 tour, he was probably finding his way on what would be a cool solo for the final track

*OFF TOPIC**

Same with Rhiad too

*ON TOPIC*

Brains drum sounded waaaay to much like the drums on Smells like tool spirit...  but I remember reading somewhere that was the plan.

also if you check out the 2002 concerts, bucket still isnt doing his thing on the track

On almost every recording Ive heard he plays a different solo.  Some sounded better than what made it to C.D.  Others were a complete mess.

Now, flash forward to the current times, GNR will not be doing a major tour in the US.  It is just not economically feasible for tour promoters in this current economical climate.  Tour promoters want a sure thing, which means a proven product.  Roth fronted VH, AC/DC, Metallica, and U2 all fall into this category.  Only a reunited GNR would attract any major dollars in the current climate.  Let's call this the familiarity factor.  I could foresee a few new GNR shows in Europe though as they seem to be more open to the new Gunz as opposed to the US.

DAMN!  Why do you have to be right?

so me and a good friend have been talking some about stuff in the mix of the new tracks - things weren't immediately noticed upon first listen but during later enjoyment of said tunes.

here's one:

in 'Sorry' under the line "the truth is the truth hurts, don't you agree" there is a whistle that echoes the melody.
