I did some serious bitching about the clip but I must say. This is great!!! It feels like a modern update of "don't damn me" to my ears! Great!
Like really great. I love the verse structure! EXCELLENT!
This is restoring my faith somewhat in Slash because I only liked one song (Anastasia) on the last album.
I know this is going to make me sound like an imature idiot... But it's great to hear someone roar FUCK! in a rock song again.

John is amazing.. But he is way past his hey day... I think this is about hits as well and AX7 has a lot of his. JP has nothing being played on the radio. JP is one of the best players on the planet.
Bullshit. DT's self titled is his best work. Unless you were totally stuck in the 90's you couldn't possibly miss the sheer vitality of his playing on the lat 2 DT albums.

There are 2 main reasons I lean towards Axl. I am not a guitar player, and while I love Slash's playing, to me its way easier to accept someone playing his parts than singing Axl's. My ears can clearly hear the difference without Axl, but if I close my eyes I can accept other people playing Slash's parts far more easily. If I was a guitar junkie, I may think differently, but I am not.
Also, let's face it. Axl gets shit on a lot more than Slash, so the opportunity for me to stick up for him happens far more frequently. I am a fan of Slash. I respect the hell out of all he has done and continues to do. I love his work ethic and how he appreciates his fans. He knows how to play the game and keep himself in the public eye, for the right reasons. But I just didn't love the last album, and I fear the same thing will happen with this one. We will see though. It's way too early to write it off completely after a 30 second sample.
I lean towards Axl because I make a lot of music myself and even though Axl has had less comercial output, the music he has created has been much more artistically varied. Slash has been re-writing AFD badly for 20 years. Most of Slash's music sounds the same to me, but when I listen to CD every song has a different context and a different heritage. I am a guitarist and Slash sounds worn out to me now, GNR doesn't.
On top of that, I don't think I've ever heard a band break-up story that was purely black and white or down to one person. The Slashites seem to push the idea that Axl is to blame for everything. That is narrow minded in my view. There are multiple sides to every story.

I'm really sorry that I posted my opinion. You might have forgotten again (or more likely: you've never ever understood it) that it's a forum. I didn't want to piss off others (I could have started flame wars many times in the past few weeks, but I decided not to comment sooo many times), I just gave my 2 cents regarding the reunion. It's maybe the third or forth time I stated my opinion on Axl's current performance level. In the past 15 years of my online GN'Rism I made a few hundred posts about this or that aspect of the reunion. Just like everybody else. It's utterly ridiculous, that you're attacking _only me_ for this and further proves that my opinion bothers you. Learn more about plurality.

Past May 12th, Dj Ashba and Richard Fortus, came online at the official Guns N’ Roses Twitter account (@gunsnroses) to answer questions from fans, under the hashtag #GNRNoTrickery, initially to talk about their second residency at The Joint in Las Vegas, but as expected, many questions regarding a new album and new songs made it to the hashtag and the guitarists managed to answer them all.
